Because Top Rank has Loma vs. Lopez coming up and PBC has LSC vs. Davis. They're not gonna step on the toes of their two big upcoming fights. You'll see Brook vs. Crawford promotion this week coming up and you'll see Garcia vs Spence promotion coming up following the LSC vs Davis fight.
You don't see the NFL promoting week 10 games during week 9. They promote the upcoming games and during the game they start promoting the next week.
But football is more popular in us than boxing people will regardless boxing is still a struggling sport unless your name is Wilder, Fury, Joshua Canelo or Pacquiao
Boxing fans never learn. Cotto got his sht pushed in twice and still gave Floyd one of his toughest fights ever. Brook is a better fighter than Danny Garcia at welterweight. Then, now. Ever.
And Brook has achieved much more at welterweight than Garcia ever will. The only question in the Spence fight is whether he is done or not. I expect Brook to give Crawford a good 8 rounds at least.

Spence fight is in December but still not many people are talking about either.
Do you guys have any interest in either fight?
- -Maybe because Spence already beat the better Garcia and brooksy at welter is easy $$$$$.
Spence Jr vs Garcia is way too soon to start Promotion. FOX goes all out to Promote their PPV's and tie it their NFL and MLB Playoff Coverage so when it is time they will do their part
As for Crawford vs Brook, don't expect much promotion until Fight Week
Did you see Spence’s recent hospital photos? Dude got fkkkkked up lol and it’s far from what they reported initially.
Im thinking the bookies know Spence is getting that ass beat.
And BRook is like post-pac Margarito damaged goods.
Garcia and Brook are leftovers from the 2010s, both are washed.
I see two routine wins for Spence and Crawford, Spence will UD Garcia and Crawford will make Brook Quit.
Both fights fall into the "I'll watch them if I'm at home" categoryBrook is washed up but Garcia is not. He is much better than Brook now. Garcia has never been off his feet or done worse than lose by close split decision. Brook has been battered twice and made to quit twice and had the heart, gameness and love of boxing knocked out of him. I do agree with your result of Spence by ud and crawford making Brook quit. The difference is Crawford 's fight is a cherrypick while Spence is fighting a worthy challenger.
Boxing as a whole has really bad promotion it seems the only one who gets it right is canelo and he barely fights.
People want to see boxing too all the casuals are gonna buy the Tyson jones fight so it’s not like it’s not in demand it’s just the proper people arnt behind it.
****, I never even saw ads for the Charlo double card, and I follow a **** ton of boxers on social media.
Lol no one cared for those fights. Just because we were fight fans and care about the state of boxing doesn't mean all of us are equally thrilled or excited or interested in the same product.
I haven't even seen the highlights or replay yet. I have seen Fury/Wilder II about 40 times now though. Probably 5 times since the Charlos last fight. A great time filler while I'm waiting for 2k21 rec center games.
And as I've explained elsewhere, when the HW division is hot (like right now) all the other divisions just get less shine. That's just the way it is. It's what the casuals have always preferred and the casuals sell the most tickets. New boxing fans don't understand this because obviously its been over a decade since the glamour division was the glamour division and cats like Floyd and Manny benefitted from no competition from HWs, but make no mistake, it doesn't matter how good Lomachenko, the Charlos, Spence Jr, Crawford, or any up and comers are. Outside of Manny, all eyes are really on the HW division. Fury, Wilder, and AJ top the news. And good luck expecting otherwise until Fury retires at least.
For whatever reason in recent years they don't seem to advertise fights much until the last couple weeks.
My assumption is having ads 2, 2.5 months out don't result in an increase in buy rate vs the money spent. Whatever it is I'm sure there is a logical & ROI reason they are doing it & they got numbers to back it up. If there is anything I think promoters are doing at near 100% efficiency it's maximizing revenue & minimizing liabilities.
