I've heard Otto's name being mentioned a lot recently, and some posters have suggested that they would like to see Wilder vs Wallin or Fury vs Wallin II
But hang on, i'm told by certain boxing experts such as Tyistall, that Wallin is a complete and utter tomato can & a disgrace to the sport.
So what it is? Is Wallin a bum? Or a reasonable contender?
I never claimed he was a world beater, however you claimed he's "the very definition of a bum"
Completely false.
Between ''decent'' and ''bum''.....Losing to Fury is his claim to fame.
He's no threat either. No one knew of him until Fury fought him. Had AJ fought him, doubtful Fury fans would rate him.
Just because a fans favorite guy fights someone doesn't make that opponent credible.

Cmon mate, you know that Wallin isn't a bum.

Why is that?
Is it the one loss he had against many would argue the best at heavyweight.
He's old at 35 based on twitch athleticism the longer he waits to fight the worse he'll look. Yes he lost to best fighter but the only advantage he'll is his devastating right hand which the slower he gets he'll be unable to land.
Wallin should fight Ruiz or Fury but Wilder should be iced out by this point.

Wilder is uninteresting without a title, he shouldn't get paid but 400k for no name fightes and against white at most 2 million. Like I have never been uninterested in a fighter as much as Wilder.
Hes a mediocre fringe top 15-20 kinda guy who got lucky with the cut and still lost about 10 rounds.
I wouldn't call a top 15-20 guy mediocre but yes, he still lost decisively to Fury. He did do better than expected though.
When you have the opportunity to face Oscar Rivas or Andy Ruiz Junior? It is unacceptable that Fury would face Wallin again.
Anthony Joshua seems to be held to a higher standard of performance than Tyson Fury.
I was talking about Otto Wallin in general, not specifically as an opponent for Tyson Fury. I don't have any desire to see Fury-Wallin 2 and yes I would rather see Fury face an Oscar Rivas or Andy Ruiz instead.
Yeah, I just got Redeemer on this one. Maybe y'all didn't pay attention as well as you thought?
Probably not. I tend to pay more attention to independent rankings than the alphabet orgs.
Wallin is a solid fighter. He did better than expected against Tyson Fury and I think he has decent skills. Is he a world-beater? No, but I think he's a C+ level fighter who could be a B- on a good day.
