Roy Jones jr on Joe Rogan?

I thought it was just MMA/UFC fans that watched him, but nope, he is well known everywhere on the internet. A drug dealer and meth addict guy I knew who was into conspiracy theories and just watched Netflix all day would always talk about Joe Rogaine, apparently young males look up to the guy. "Wow he kicks so hard, he'd beat elite UFC fighters in a fight" (yes, they have actually claimed this with Joe Rogaine vs Colby Covington). He's a tough guy for men who aren't tough, an intellectual for people who are dumb, and a funny guy for people with poor sense of humour. His fans are a plague of the internet. Absolute geeks. This is one of the best and most humourous run-downs I've heard on this site for a long time. Bravo. He reminds me of a guy name Art Bell, who got to run a radio "talk" on the "paranormal" (if a sane person can imagine such a thing) He was an absolute tyro, a novice, who made the most ludicrous errors in pronunciation, and REALLY knew nothing -ZERO. And in his "responses" to the more than half-crazy nuts who called up. It was comical to hear him stumbling over EVERYTHING, and being corrected, actually instructed, by the callers. It took a couple of years before he began to get slick. I would occasionally turn him on, just for fun, so could notice the progressive "improvement".... There were several supposed mind improving "vitamins" whose names he made a real mess of all the time. Never mastered them. The callers would often spell them out for him. Made no difference. It was really something.....His Bete Noir was "pycnogenol"...never mastered it. And that guy made a good living from it....Well..."The Land Of Opportunity"...at work.

In todays unsolved mysteries, why does the world's largest podcaster with thousands of hours of content and a reach that most TV networks dream of with zero advertising get paid lot, we may never know.

I don't understand why Rogan is so important and makes so much money. He just does not seem like anybody special at all but I guess he is to many because they pay the guy a fortune to run his mouth. That’s kinda why he’s popular, he just kinda seems like a normal dude.

I totally agree with your opinion. I heard him ONCE only, a year or two ago with a DR. Neil Riordan, and he did more fumbling, and mispronouncing of words Riordan repeated 20 times, than anyone with an education should. I could hardly believe that this was the famous Joe Rogan. And even harder to believe that he was a comedian, and has had many TV, and show experiences... But what do I know about show business....except that there are many occasions where opportunity drops at the feet of people often only of ordinary talent, who have very good agents.. I'm totally against his VERY permissive thinking, almost anarchist, (as if he doesn't care what happens to the world as long as "I'm alright Jack")..but the one thing I really like about him is his opinion of Biden.
