These are what i think that are the most important wins in the past 5 years in boxing;feel free to post yours
5. Ruiz Vs AJ; the modern day buster douglas- mike tyson. Ruiz built like a pig destroying the adonis like , adored AJ as a 30-1 underdog
4.Canelo Vs Golovkin 2; Canelo ending one of the greatest middleweights to ever do it undefeated streak with 25+ defenses
3.Fury Vs Klitshcko; Fury who was laughed at and even by the british media;ending klitschkos 10 year undefeated undefeated run in his own backyard
2. Mayweather Vs Pacquiao ;mayweather solidilfying himself as the greatest of his generation against another once in a generation wonder like pacquiao in a boringish fight
1. Fury vs Wilder; fury pulling off another stunning win against a man with 41kos in 42 fights 0 losses 5th year as a wbc champion by brutalizing the bully in his own backyard.
Honorable mentions: pac- thurman, crawford- indongo (crawford becoming the first undisputed in almost a decade) , vargas - miura, ward-kovalev 2, loma- rigo, inoue - donaire
Interesting; spence beating brook was good win however most people predicted spence to beat him and considering brook was knocked out and had his eye socket shattered by GGG before that fight.
Leading up to the fight, the sports books were all over the place. I think Spence did end up going into the fight as a slight favorite.
But if I remember correctly, the majority of UK fans on here at least, had Spence tabbed as the next "Jeff Lacy." Even many Americans favored Brook, as Spence was seen as too inexperienced.
Nevertheless I have it as one of the biggest wins in the last 5 years because Errol won his first title, and had to travel overseas to Brook's backyard to do so. Even though Brook was coming off the loss at MW, many fans still had him as the #1 WW in the world.
Mayweather vs. McGregor: Mayweather defeated a MMA champ (no other athlete defeated champs of other sport in his own sport), 2nd top PPV of all time, and also broke Marciano's record...
Usyk vs. Gassiev: Undisputed...
Crawford vs. Indongo: Undisputed...
Ruiz vs. AJ: Upset of the Decade...
Menayothin vs. Taduran: Broke Mayweather's record...
may pac...wasnt 5 years ago, and wouldnt marquez ko'ing pac be a better win? that also wasnt 5 years ago but how about jeff horn beating pac? that counts!
2015 wasnt 5 years ago??
Golovkin is a middleweight goat. Hes had 25+ defences.
'With a streak of 23 knockouts that spanned from 2008 to 2017, he holds the highest knockout-to-win ratio – 89.7% – in middleweight championship history, meanwhile ending twelve 6+ winning streaks of his opponents and stopping 4 previously undefeated boxers. Golovkin is also said to have one of the most durable chins in boxing history, having never been knocked down or otherwise stopped in a total of 392 fights, 42 as a professional and 350 as an amateur.'
Another thing to note is canelo has a stellar resume but his best win and his surefire ticket to hof 1st ballot was the golovkin win. Canelo can go up to 175 and knock out beterbiev but ggg will remain his best win.
wtf??? no he didnt..where did you get that from?

Fury was prime 27 to Wlad being a few months away from being 40 so I don't agree on the one either. I agree that Ruiz KOing AJ and Fury KOing Wilder were great wins. I think Mayweather beating Pac was ? good win but not a great win that proved he was the best fighter of his generstion. Generation is a vague on overused term. How long is a generation? I guess old enough to grow up and start a family so maybe 25 years. There have been some great fighters in the 25 years before Mayweather beat Pac and a few I think were better than him. Mayweather had a large size advantage over Pac being a big welterweight while Pac could still make 135 and fight well at that weight if he wanted to.

yeah man knocking out guys like curtis stevens sure is impressive! you realize stevens had previously lost to legit D level club fighters like jesse brinkley and marcos primera right?
if canelo knocked out beterbiev it would dwarf his victory over golovkin....by EVERYONE with the exception of the gggroupies
A Beterbiev win would be legendary. But will Beterbiev be as good at his weight as GGG was in his for all those fights?
Still, a Beterbiev win would put Canelo in atg type territory considering that win looks close to impossible to pull off due to that size difference.
And guys, Pac-Floyd was over 5 years ago. Time flies.
It’s surprising to see the Fury win over Wilder considering the first fight showed Fury was still in form and NOT fat and wasted and we all knew a non addict/fat Fury was better than Wilder.

Spence-Brook, Pacquiao-Thurman, AJ-Ruiz I, Hurd-Williams, Wilder-Fury 2

1. Andy Ruiz v. Anthony Joshua
2. Tyson Fury v. Wladimir Klitschko
3. Floyd Mayweather v. Manny Pacquiao
4. Manny Pacquiao vs. Keith Thurman
5. Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder
I picked no doubters, because frankly some matches were controversial like Ward V. Kovalev I, GGG v. Canelo II, SRR vs. Chocolatito I, where most people disagree with the official result
good list but i have a bone to pick with #4
golovkin isnt one of the greatest MWs ever
but hes a very good fighter...and the matchup was big...two p4p guys...big build up......what made it big was that golovkin was supposed to have beaten canelo soundly and ko'd him the first time...when he didnt...he and his fans begged canelo to stand and fight...canelo obliged and beat him
