Canelo is a manufactured fighter. There's an asterisk next to his every big win. I can't think of any other fighter like this. Him being the face of boxing is BS too. He's only popular in USA and Mexico. Joshua is more popular worldwide than him. Fury probably too.

LOL, I didn't even see this thread, just made observations of Canelo and his fights off the top of my head. --------------------------------------------- Face of boxing since Lara fight - Angulo (shot), Kirkland (shot), Cotto (over-the-hill), Khan (cherry), Liam (cherry b/c Andrade had the WBO), Chavez Jr (shot cherry), GGGimmick I (2nd defeat), GGGimmick II (legit win), Jacobs (ok boxer but no HofF level), Kovalev (double rehydration cherry). Basically, it's alot of recognizable names but not a lot real fights. I'm not sure if Canelo is the male version of Amanda Serrano, a division jumper who grabs opportunitic fights. Oops. I know he never made an offer to Beterbiev, Benavidez, Andrade , or Charlo(I'm not buying Oscar's) story). All of them have belts in divisions that he fights in. He he claims he wants belts.
