Not at 147, he gets retired on his Stool at 147 If he can get Bud at a 150-152 Catchweight or something then Maybe! Kell is big, very strong and has a great chin but draining himself at 34 year old to make 147 is clearly just a Money Grab

I agree. Kell Brook's boxing career is over. One can might as well stick a fork in it because he is done. GGG ruined it for him. At the moment, he's a mere gatekeeper at best.

Maybe two or so years back, he might have even beaten Crawford but I can't really see it now not after seeing Brooks last fight. i know he likely had a little ring rust & all that but he looked so slow and ponderous. I think Smith would have likely beaten him had they fought. I can forgive him looking a little lackluster and having too dig deep vs Zerafa as he's a little underrated and a lot bigger than Brook but I can't erase how awful he looked vs DeLuca.

It isn't that the best 154 pound boxers are bigger than him because they are not bigger only much better. Brook was very good a long time ago but not very good today, Crawford would be a big favorite to beat Brook as he should be.

Brook will be drained making 147 again. I don't think Crawford has as many issues with this Brook than he did with Mean Machine.

Brook hasn't looked like a tremendous fighter at all after GGG and Spence knocked him out. In fact he has looked very average in my opinion. He has not fought or defeated any top 10 world rated boxer since being KOed by Spence and has done nothing to earn a title shot at 147. He has not even fought at 147 since being KOed by Spence. He should beat a top ten welterweight at the top weight of 147 and then he would deserve a Crawford fight but he has just been fighting guys most fans have never heard of.

Brook like Mean Machine throws a good straight right hand. Its the punch Crawford gets hit with the most.

The only reason that Crawford and team have been entertaining this fight is because the easy UK money. Big enough name to command a certain purse with the odds of winning on their side.

The only way it passed 5/6 rounds is if Bud starts off cautious.. I don't blame Brook for taking a fight like this but for me I'd wish he'd call time.. I like him a lot and he has a good fan base but he's not the same fighter, one more bad fight and he's playing sloth in a Goonies re-make... He should go for 154 title. he is too big for 147 now.
