i totally agre...if teo and his people are that delusional that they want even 50 percent, let alone be the a-side, and that kills the fight? then yeah its totally on him for killing it they have a manager there though...who isnt teos dad...and i think he knows the deal and is reasonable....i think its much more likely they are looking to add 3-500k on to their purse....to me that 1.2 is a little light.... i agree...if hes unreasonable and kills it then its all on him....i just dont think the comments coming from his dad hold much weight.....he does alot of talking but i believe they have a voice of reason in that camp(manager) we saw/heard the same song and dance from the same type of people way back when danny jacobs turned down an initial lowball offer from team golovkin......did danny look scared when they fought? Here's the thing. There's a fine line between hyping a fight and self-deluded thinking. Outlandish statements can only be taken so far, go on for so long, before it gives the appearance that something is off. And the big problem is with El Viejo Loco. As Mark Kriegal accurately stated, " is largely the product of his father's ambition." I think this is a tremendous understatement. HIs dad is the one that pushed for the Lomachenko fight. It wasn't really his son. At least not in the beginning. And I know that Teofimo is scared to fight Lomachenko. If anyone doesn't believe me, I can prove it with actual footage. The kid is having a Charmin moment as I type this. The point, really, that I'm making is that the father has reached a level of such deluded thinking that with the combination of Teofimo losing confidence and the father's erroneous overconfidence and bias, that the amalgamation of the two has heralded Teofimo's defeat already. And if he doesn't take the fight now, not only will he be viewed as the biggest coward of recent memory, but he'll never get the credit for fighting Lomachenko and possibly beating him if he waits for Lomachenko to get older, out of his prime. yeah...i agree 100 percent but the guy i quoted and was referring to? did you see what he said when i posed that question? he said "well if he does get the money he better back it up by knocking loma out within 4 rounds"...lol...as if thats a must....as if any other type of performance will shame teo...lol teo will have won before getting in the ring by getting the money he wanted.....not won the fight...but won a battle he wanted to win.......even a close loss would not shame teo in any way in that event.....its a tough fight Oh wow, no I didn't see that quote, but yeah at the top level a legit win is a legit win. Of course a dominant/impressive win for either would be even better but a win without controversy is good enough for me.

Really can't disagree with you. IF Teo accepts an additional 300K-500K, and the fight goes on for Oct 3rd, I'd likely assume he was just negotiating. Various fighters sometimes use some clown talk to negotiate and hype a fight. I get that. The issue is this.. Or maybe he wants to be compensated better for losing. he very well might lose...and im sure hes well aware of that....thats why he wants to be compensated, by his teams assessment, properly...at least what they feel is proper.... all of these guys know a loss is possible...loma knows a loss is possible for him too...... lopez's team have a set number they feel they are realistcally worth for this fight...it wasnt met with the original offer....thats all theres a risk with every fight between two major fighters...it doesnt mean teo is scared....it means he wants what he feels is his market value for this fight.....and hes not being wildly unrealistic

Dude, you don't repeatedly call out a top guy, then guy says "let's do it" and you say "well...not enough money doe...", then the top guy is like, "...ok, take some more of my money, let's DO THIS.".
