He can box off the back foot, and off the front foot, from both stances.
He has fast hands and has a large repertoire of punches and the IQ and creativity to give you many looks and combinations.
He is a slick defender who loves using a philly shell variation, this also adds to his offense because one of the perks of using it is being able to bring your lead hand up from out of your opponents line of sight.
He has a good chin and loves to fight.
His footwork is incredible for a man of his size. He is always in position to either punch or reset. Specifically, he can step to any direction at almost any time. He has multiple avenues of escape because not only can he quickly step back and laterally and pivot, but he can transition stances while doing it.
What HW not named Fury, can you say all of the above for? Name one.
And I haven't even mentioned his size and length advantages. Nor his intangibles like the heart of a lion. I agree with most if not everything you've just said. However, my only argument with that would be his resume.
When I look at his resume I don't find anything special there. Granted, he has defeated Wladimir Klitschko but other than that he hasn't beaten anybody of importance or significance in his entire career.
The very same could be said about Deontay Wilder. I don't think that you can say he is more special than Anthony Joshua or Dillian Whyte because their resumes are a lot stronger than his.
Yes, he looks very special when he is fighting against limited opposition like: Pianeta, Seferi, Wallin, Schwarz and Deontay Wilder. However, only time will reveal just how special he really is. I think right now he is being vastly overrated at the moment.
A disgrace, that Gypsy-Bum Tyson Phooey, violated BBBofC protocols by refusing to wear BBE gloves and denying fat John McDermott use the Reyes punchers gloves for the rematch, but Tyson did.
In my unbiased opinion ( as a American ), I got to say, Tyson Fury never beat John McDermott on the straight up.
Get a life man... it was over 10 years ago. :lol1:
I had Fury winning in a close fight, one or the cards was terribly wide if I remember correctly. Any controversy was cleared up when Fury stopped in the rematch.
Well... if YOU had Fury winning a close one who are the rest of us to argue?
Whyte and / or AJ crushes the best Fury there is. Simple.
But like Wilder, Fury will duck Whyte. He might fight AJ, there's a lot of money available. He will lose. Badly.
Wraps, I respect your opinion and all but what exactly makes him so great? What did I miss? I just don't see it.
Floppy gloves, loaded gloves, gloves with the padding removed, headlocks, rabbit punches, baby oil, long counts, gypsy curses, wild boar's testicles, nandrolone, cocaine, bribing farmers ..... blah blah blah
Good job Tyson Fury did not face Danny Williams or Audley Harrison at this stage of his career 'They both of beaten him in my opinion'.
You can clearly see how much Tyson Fury has improved.

What is this?
An attempt to argue Fury has a loss now? This is FloydCastillo all over again lol. The price of greatness.
Fury won a closer decision than it should have been. LIKE REAL GREATS DO, HE GAVE A REMATCH. And dominated. End of story.
