DAZN is ruining Canelo’s legacy and brand!

Not a fan of the biggest Superstar in Boxing being exclusively on DAZN. That Benefits DAZN twice a year I guess but as for the sport of boxing itself it is one of the main reasons why UFC/MMA have surpassed boxing. UFC/MMA is far more accessible to the casuals than boxing is in which you're asking Casuals who don't even watch boxing much to pay for a subscription they will not use much to watch Canelo when in actuality most of them would probably prefer to pay for the 1 and Done PPV because it is just more simple and it is tradition and how people traditionally consume big fights Just because some Boxing Fans on a forum can't afford PPV's doesn't mean that others can't! UFC Recent PPV doing 1.3 Million is confirmation that PPV is far from dead and it will never die. APPS should be used as Alternative Options and it is even better for On Demand Access BUT when it comes to watching Live Sports when you're at home, NO I don't think a APP will ever replace Cable and Satellite TV If You "Cut the Cord" you better be a bit Tech Savvy that is for sure! So DAZN doesn't benefit Canelo in anyway other than the fact that he is making a lot of money by fighting on that APP exclusively. As far as building a brand on a Upstart APP, that is a tall tough task and it is just not ideal. I'm sure even his Sponsors are disappointed he is limiting his Audience being on that APP.

Not in this current situation, they told Canelo he has to take a pay cut! We always seem to get told half a story.. do we know how much he's been asked to drop? Do we know if it's made back up at a later date? I suppose he's In a catch.. does he accept, try for breach of contract and full amount, try to get out to which he may not get anything alike due to circumstances.. or accept drop but made back up if/when circumstances change...

Nobody’s even talking about anticipating when Canelo fights anymore, everyone is talking about the Tyson-Jones Jr circus, Showtime fights, Loma-Lopez, Russell jr and Crawford, Ryan and Campbell, and the Charlo twins fights! DAZN offered canelo so much he had to take it. Yeah it reduced his visibility In America and the current situation is embarrassing but he got paid. It’s a little like Grant Hill and FILA shoes .
