Whyte has terrible management

Guy fights contenders, hard fights, beating them all, but still zero world title shots. Something is wrong here. And he plans to fight Povetkin next, another tough fight with no world title on the line. On the other hand, Pulev is getting his second world title shot. If Whyte just looks who has got a world title shot in last years, he should start crying.. He manages himself. Hes chosen for Matchroom to get him the most money, instead of going the eliminators route. He only has himself to blame for not getting a title fight, Matchroom will just keep making him a ton of money though. Disagree. You can't look at things in a vacuum. Whyte got a shot at Joshua and lost. The demand for a rematch was not there for years. Then Joshua went and lost to Ruiz and had to rematch. Whyte had no chance of getting involved in those discussions. Fury/Wilder were flirting with each other for a long time. Before that, Wilder stepped up to fight Ortiz, then gave him a rematch after a 'tuneup'. Fury was dealing with mental health issues. Since 2018, Whyte's chances of landing a big fight were very small. You can't blame a fighter or his management if the other guys are not willing to step into the ring with you. Whyte was offered a world title shot against AJ in April 2019 and he turned it down because he didn't like the terms of the rematch clause.
