What US cities would you say have a history of producing the best fighters? Here’s my first try at a top 10:
1) New York
2) Philadelphia
3) Los Angeles
4) Detroit
5) Chicago
6) Boston
7) Baltimore
8) Cleveland
9) San Francisco
10) Cincinnati
I'd put St. Louis on there - Archie Moore, Henry Armstrong, Sonny Liston, Michael and Leon Spinks, Virgil Akins, Arthur Johnson, Charley Riley, Freddie Norwood, Bob Satterfield, etc.

Shawn Porter, Michael Dokes, Prince Charles Williams, Jimmy Bivins, Johnny Kilbane, Joey Maxim. Even guys like Yaundale Evans, Terrell Gausha, Mickey Bey, Charles Conwell and others I’m forgetting
Also the number 1 US fighter going into the Olympics Tiger Johnson
Youngstown is like 1 hour 30 away and they have a lot as well
Tony Zale back in the 40’s was the middleweight champion.
Adrian Granados.

They might not all be top fighters, but they’re decent named fighters. yes but that's not even better then houston with foreman, Charlos, everitt martin, jack Johnson, Juan Diaz.......so on. I am suprised that houston hasn't made top 3.....the list needs to be re done.

Jake lamotta and Mike Tyson New York
Rocky Marciano & Marvin hagler Brockton Massachusetts to name few.
