If Wilder was busted for PED’s and fought dirty like Fury did against Wilder and Cunningham, then what would be happening?
Would Wilder get away with using the mental illness story like Fury did?
Would Wilder have all those things swept under the rug like it never existed?
Would people be parading Wilder as a great fighter for his performance despite holding/hitting, leaning on the neck/back, chokeholding, using forearms, open palm punching, tripping of the legs, and headbutts?
Let’s separate the fans of the sport and the fanboys!
Fury won, Wilder lost and Wilder will get his opportunity to rectify his lost or suffer a career ending loss after Haymon drops him and Dibella tells him, he can't even pay him
If you recall, Fury rocked Wilder in the 12th, in the first. This fight was a continuation.
That’s true but Wilder was exhausted!
He threw lots of punches and then he was celebrating too much when he dropped Fury in the 12th!
But let’s not forget any other ref that night would’ve called the fight when they saw Fury get dropped like that and his eyes was closed for nearly 5 seconds!
It would be more popular but also more scrutinized.
The NFL and combat sports catch heat because people argue you take lasting permanent damage.
To me, it's about education. We educate athletes and let them make informed decisions. What we shouldn't do is water down or alter the sport itself. I want hard hits and to watch a QB get speared defenseless in the NFL. I want hand checking and hard fouls in the NBA. I want guys going out on their shield in a bloodbath in boxing, I don't want towels thrown nor early wave offs.
47 rounds in the sweltering heat, bare knuckle. Those must have been the days, if Fury fought Wilder bare knuckle in a 30 rounder outside in an outdoor ring 5 mins from Las Vegas, it would be a spectacle. The world would stop and watch.
My goodness you’re a violent fellow!
You make a lot of sense when it comes to the nitty gritty of it all!
Boxing isn’t for the faintest of hearts!
A picture says a thousand words and one that says, “sketchy”!
A guy who couldn’t put down someone much lighter than him first time around and now both weigh more and he could drop him twice and has stopping power!
Where was this power against Wallin?
If you recall, Fury rocked Wilder in the 12th, in the first. This fight was a continuation.
I can somehow respect that, the honesty at least!
Guess my next thread will be should boxing go back to the Queensbury days or Gentlemen’s sport days where it was unlimited rounds and anything goes except no weapons unless your caught with it!
Would making the sport more violent make people want to watch it more? Hmmm

Of course they can't. Hopefully they'll disappear when Fury retires their hero in December.
Fury is the new face of boxing and certain people can't handle it. I love it!! :lol1: :boxing::boxing:
The truth hurts: Wilder just 'aint that good!
That ref was ashamed to see a fellow UK guy try to get a one up like that!
Fury was gonna try and thumb Hammer’s eye and I think his tests for that fight was even suspicious as he likely tested positive for something and it never got addressed!
Wilder’s management did him a disservice that much can’t be argued!
From failing to give him the Klitschko fight and failing to get him a unification so he wouldn’t have been frozen out by Joshua and then giving him his worst style match up as his biggest fight!
I mean has Finkel and Haymon actually done anything for Wilder?
They made the Ortiz fights but yet Ortiz has popped dirty couple of times yet disallowed the Povetkin fight!
Offered AJ 50 million while Wilder was only getting 400k-1million!
That DAZN deal doesn’t look so good now so they dodged a bullet there maybe but the guys image is in shambles and he’s got his first loss an lost his belt in a highly suspicious way vs a guy who has a history of doing sketchy things!
Wilder probably should get rid of them, it’s mainly his knockouts is why so many know who he is!
i agree with alot of what you say in general on this forum...and alot of what you say on this topic
but i cant agree with you in saying haymon and finkel have done him wrong...i actually think its quite the opposite...complete opposite...theyve done wilder very well
wilder is a rich, rich, man....partly because of how they moved wilder
wilder was a top 5 earner in combat sports last year....he went from 2 million dollar paydays to 20-30 million dollar paydays and never even fought AJ......wilder has now made over 100 mill in career earnings...how many other active american born fighters can say that?
they tried to get the AJ fight i truly believe.....as far as not getting wilder a unification to force AJ into a fight? well they didnt really have the money behind wilder that hearn had with AJ....AJ was earning and bringing in big bucks back home where they could pay a charles martin 6 million for a fight....they overpaid big time...wilder was still making 1 mil or so a fight at the time....they couldnt compete with hearns pockets at that time...not really their fault unless they wanted to blow money for no good reason.......they had all the momentum in the world with wilder and the world calling for AJ/wilder and still couldnt get AJ and his people to want to fight......
I mean, at least you're getting it finally.
I don't give a damn about a moral compass when it comes to the fight game. I just don't.
If that makes me a douchebag to you than so be it lol. I'm a combat veteran and an amateur boxer. I get off on blood shed and blood sports, I love combat and the history of combat and combat sports. If the roman gladiator games were a thing today, I'd be watching I wouldn't be part of the crowd campaigning for human rights or some soft take.
I'm here to pay good money to watch grown men fight professionally by choice. I don't care what drugs you're on, I don't care if you fight a little dirty or showboat, or talk chit. I don't care what you do in your personal life outside of the ring. I don't care what you're belief systems are, nor what your background is. I just want to enjoy the fights, and rustle fanboys of fighters who lose.
So how does it feel? Feels great man. I love that you guys hate him so much. No publicity is bad publicity, something Floyd understood well. Many paid to see him lose and many will hopefully do the same with Fury....more news, more drama, more viewers. Good for boxing.
Fury fans are out here winning, and all the threads about PEDs and gloves, we are loving this attention. We are thriving on it. We Fury fans have waited for it for years. We love it.

Well said! Bottom line, It's FIGHTS that we want to see. As long as the fighters are following the rules of the sport, it's all good. And if they don't follow the rules, it's the sanctioning bodies, refs and judges who are responsible for enforcing them in their respective capacities. Controversy is part of the game and the nature of the beast. Anyone who can't handle it needs to take up something more gentle, like knitting. :boxing:
It's embarrassing that these fans of the so called "baddest man on the planet" are crying about rough tactics & making up stories about loaded gloves. :lol1: :lol1:
Sad!

:lol1: Sounds like someone still can't accept that Wilder had his ass handed to him.
Of course they can't. Hopefully they'll disappear when Fury retires their hero in December.

At least you admit that you’re a douchebag and you don’t mind it!
Fury doesn’t have the courage or bálls to admit that he needs to cheat to win fights and can’t address that he uses PED’s to get an edge!
How does it feel to praise a man who has no shame or moral integrity?
It makes sense his fans and bandwagon fans do this since they have no moral compass to save their pathetic lives!

Again, I’ve asked people on here!
Who the hell is the LDBC?
Nobody can point me to who that is!
I seriously thought that the was a new LGBT community but Latin based!
I asked the same question, no one could answer.
What does the LGBQT or whatever group have to do with Wilder? I thought there priority was new genders or equality for trannies or something of that nature.
Who gives a crap about speculation?
Stop deflection and changing the narrative!
Has Ward ever tested positive?
Has Ward ever had to go to court to admit he used PED’s?
Has Ward ever had to use IV’s to rehydrate when close to a fight when he can just drink water?
Has Ward ever went up in weight and fought bigger men and knocked them out?
If the answers no then your statement is irrelevant just like my questions to you!
If you don’t excuse ANY PED user then why are you defending Tyson Fury but denouncing a CLEAN fighter in Deontay Wilder?
Why does Tyson Fury a PED cheater get the benefit of the doubt but no one else does?
Is there something your not telling me since we’re now going by speculating and not official evidence like Fury’s documented cheating in the Hammer, Cunningham, Wilder 2 and before the Klitschko rematch fights!?
Go on, tell me why Tyson Fury deserves a pass for illegal tactics but not others!
I’ve called out Ward, Hopkins and even Floyd with what he was doing in the Pacquiao fight by excessive clinching, chokeholds and leaning on the back!
Y’all either gonna be fans of the sport or stop being bandwagons cuz of y’all like an dislike of certain fighters!
I'm not even defending Fury or denouncing Wilder so I don't know where you're getting that from. Haven't even mentioned Wilder until right now. A failed test is a failed test. I rarely even post about Fury, if ever, until yesterday so I don't know why you're getting all bent out of shape. Really don't give much of a damn.
