J C Chavez vs Mayweather Jr at 130.
Duran vs Whitaker at 135.
Me and a mate of mine often send these type of fights to each other, really struggling to pick a winner with these two.
Tell me who wins and how...
Castillo and JCC fight nothing alike. Dumb comment.
I called the fight outcomes of both fights you presented as predictable. Duran is tailor made for Pea.

Castillo literally modelled himself on JCC. :lol1:
You’re an idiot...
Floyd struggled with Castillo... so how on earth does he easily beat a prime JCC?
Calling Duran “predictable”. :lol1: GTFOH...

Come on Floyd was clearly injury in the first jcc fight and it was visible: frequently going southpaw to give the shoulder a break, talking about the injury between rounds, etc. it wasn’t no b1tch azz fake injury like somebody we know
Educated Latin pressure that’s unorthodox is how you fight Floyd yes.
JLC2, Cotto, and Maidana all show this. They fought a healthy Floyd and still made it tough
JCC makes it hard, but Floyd is the greater fighter
Floyd Duran different story. Mr Panama could win twice in a trilogy
He had trouble with Castillo in the rematch and with Cotto and with Maidana...
That was my point, that guy was suggesting he wins easily.
I’m not saying Chavez definitely beats Floyd or vice versa. It’s an incredibly tough fight for both IMO.
I’m a huge Sweet Pea fan, and I think his defensive wizardry definitely causes Duran issues early on and allows him to build up a lead, but I just don’t think he has the power to keep Duran off. Duran rag dolled guys like Davey Moore so as the fight wears on I think eventually he catches up with Whitaker.
If it’s a 15 round fight I have Duran UD. If it’s a 12 round fight I have Duran by SD.
People need to to remember Chavez was only somewhat outboxed by naturally bigger guys at higher weight classes, he barely lost a round at 130. Floyd was also completely dominant at 130, so neither man has it easy like some of you are suggesting.
I think it has split decision written all over it, I’m actually leaning towards Chavez as Mayweather was nowhere near as cerebral at 130. The older version of Floyd beats probably him on points but the younger version possibly gets sucked in and loses a close decision.
Chavez was a slow starter so Mayweather would likely have an early lead but Chavez would inevitably come on strong and force Floyd to fight with him down the stretch.
I’m thinking Chavez by SD.
Struggling? Lmao.
Floyd and Sweet Pea are easy picks. Easy picks.
The "greatness" of Duran and JCC are irrelevant here, styles make fights and slick high IQ boxers like Floyd and Pea pick more predictable punchers like Duran and JCC apart with ease.

Both Duran and Chavez fought many excellent boxers in their prime and they beat them usually by KO. To say Chavez and Duran were just punchers is very much incorrect. They were both great all the way around. They were also smart boxers with fast hands, , timing, punching accuracy, stamina and iron jaws.
DeJesus beat Duran and he is not 1/2 the boxer Whitaker is , And Chavez was out boxed by Randell and a draw with Whitaker, Taylor had him beat until the last 10 seconds. so they can most definitely be out boxed.
Fighters like Pea and FM when on their game are just so hard to beat and near impossible to out point.
Ive always said when it comes to the very top liners either can win if they in the zone, there is so little between them that its down to who has the best camp and who be in the zone on the night.
IMO Floyd over JCC obviously
Duran-Whitaker is very hard to decide because whitaker was so slick nearly invincible
But after I watched duran's fight against Esteban de Jesús and Ken Buchanan,
Prime Duran was tough and very smart he can adapt in any situation EVEN how fast opponents are he will catch them in late rounds.
I think duran edge him out if it's 15round fight.

Chaver beats Mayweather in my opinion. That was the prime chavez who could throw almost 100 bombs per round. Duran was at his greatest at 135 and much too much for Whitaker also just in my opinion since there is no certain winner in these fantasy fights and it is all just opinion and not proven fact.
