When fighters beg for money to fight a superstar up front, to me, they are admitting defeat. If you were that confident, why not just earn your check by beating the man who makes the checks. That's what Maidana did with Broner (and Ortiz), and then went on to earn himself two paydays against Floyd.

He’s actually been in training with Ben Davison recently, so it sounds like he’s preparing for a fight sometime, so not sure how true the report is Cheers. I'd have been surprised if Canelo would have been his next fight anyways. I'd expect both to ease into it if the money isn't right...
