Well we all got our biases and we all got different opinions - in fact I'd argue that one way of describing an individual is simply as a collection of preferences, likes and dislikes... biases if you like. There are tools and techniques you can use to help you be more objective, but eliminating subjective bias altogether is impossible... and why would we want to anyway? Be boring as fuck.:lol1: People talking about fanbases as if they're just one h0m0genous entity always fall into the trap of massive over-generalisation - in fact in most cases when people talk about a 'fanbase' disparagingly they're mainly talking about the excesses of just a few vocal individuals. Way I see it much better to target the individual who has talked some nonsense and call 'em on it, than trying to paint every fan of a fighter - or indeed the fighter themselves - as the problem. Amusing to see the argument that 'I'm just trolling 'em cos of the crap they say', though, like the dudes on the other side ain't doing and thinking the same... like some strange race to the lowest common denominator till we see top champions refered to as cowards and bums. Weird as fuck. Never seems to occur to dudes that this ain't a war that can be won, although good boxing discussion and genuine enthusiasm for the sport can lose.

It really depends on who you view as a fanboy and who you view as a "boxing fan" but the reality is that everyone is a boxing fanboy because you would likely lean towards the guy that shares your opinion regardless of how objective you might try to be. It is impossible to be 100% objective in topics. That is why I don't resort to claiming myself as an objective boxing fan like some guys arrogantly proclaim here, when I'm just as much of a fanboy when it comes to defend my views like any other fan here. Yeah, totally impossible to be 100% objective. I think its well within the capabilities for everyone to see both sides of how a fight can go. You don't see "fanboy" posters following up on their bold claims with what could happen fighting another big name. To me, that's a "fanboy". Going along with over the top, outrageous claims; "fanboy". I'm looking at Fury fans, nowadays. It was Wilder fans before he lost. Joshua fans, before that!

The reality is that YouTube has more instant media news than NSB, and I find it hard to believe fans don’t source YouTube when new channels have easy access to boxer interviews. Do realize that Deontay Wilder is acting the fool. I have seen 78Sportstv do a live stream regarding the Fury cheated propaganda, that he had a “source” while 5 min later he says “oh wait the Champ is texting me right now” confirming that Deontay listens to the show. Therefore, Deontay Wilder is in on it regarding the Fury cheated propaganda. He’s not saying anything because of legal/libelous claims that would go against him, so he lets his LDBC fanbase do it and act quiet. The LDBC help push Wilder PPV during fight preparations. Of course Wilder or PBC allow them to speak false propaganda on YouTube as long as They benefit from PPV advertisements. This is common sense. And it’s a shame that Dontaes Boxing Nation or Young Pharaoh, and the LDBC promote photoshopped images of gloves. They even put knuckle imprints on the glove when wraps underneath don’t even have knuckle grooves as such. You’d know if you boxed are seen an infinite amount of wraps done... The Wilder fanbase are now officially gargabe. I just want to see AJ, Ruiz, Usyk, Whyte, Fury all dish out supremacy while Dubois, Yoka do the come up It is very cringe to see this stuff about Fury's knuckle imprints and I've come to expect it from Wilder after the first Fury fight. I think there was a list of excuses as long as my arm. I do think there is a level of suspicion regarding Fury's knockdowns of Wilder. The first knockdown was a rabbit punch, IMO. YouTube does provide irrefutable evidence of that, I think. Not that without the knockdowns, Fury wouldn't have won, he clearly would have but what path would the fight have taken if Wilder hadn't taken that punch? Who knows. Im even guilty of this at times.... Especially with the annoying Canelo generals on here.... Lol Every fanbase has wackjobs.... And alot of times they are the most vocal. Example i see alot threads about Wilder fans and conspiracies( true or not) . But im a Wilder fan and i have never entertained any of the BS after the fight. He lost, i got over it, and focused on Wilder doing what he needs for the rematch. All the BS is just a distraction from the fact that Wilder needs to go the drawing board and evolve as a fighter. The fact that he has been quiet, i believe he gets it. Sometimes we have to ignore that shyt and not take it serious or shyt on the entire fanbase I think the resounding problem with boxing and it’s fans (a shortened version of fanatic btw) is that there are so few match ups compared to team sports that the comparisons just flip flop from the rational to the totally irrational, daily. At least in a team sport, they play other teams very regularly and there is a clear distinction between what teams are better than others. The lunatics on here cannot rationalise their fandom and will use any little crack to try and shut you down, there is no real discussion on that matter. The list is endless of topics used to discredit a fighter which, for some reason, means that if you disagree, that means ‘YDKSAB’. Totally pathetic. There is a conveyor belt of trolls who back a certain fighter and only a ‘few’ (maybe more) who can talk objectively. I came onto this forum to learn about boxing because I was a relatively late convert to the sport - instead, I find myself looking up actual facts to try and articulate a response to those kinds of people who only see boxing subjectively which fuels my desire to see the person they back (nowadays it’s Fury fans) lose badly just to prove them wrong but because, as I said, fights are few and far between, it takes years to get a result. It’s an infuriating wheel of trolls and facts. It gives me a headache.
