I’ve had enough of Joshua/Fury comparisons.

This is going to be strung out just like the endless Fury/Wilder threads. Even after Fury won very convincingly we still had conspiracy nuts trying to prove he did something with his gloves, he cheated, etc. Wilder's sorry excuses afterward were just fueling these crazy fans. The same will happen now until Fury/AJ fight. If the outcome of the fight is controversial, the bickering will continue until a rematch. Strap yourself in, this is going to be at least a year of Fury vs AJ vs Wilder threads.

Define ‘legit’ because I’m pretty sure he’s a proven cheat. It’s not just what comes out of his mouth, my friend. His actions are louder than his words, in a total negative way. Great boxer. Not a true champion. He has the best wins at the weight. But i guess i get what u mean by Great fighter but not champion. I just disagree

I’m backing Joshua to do a number on Fury, not going to change my mind. You can tell all these Fury fanatics, bandwagoners and casuals all the history and facts in the world but if they want to back that kind of guy, then they will never change their mind. That’s their thing to deal with if/when he loses. Joshua fans (including me) had to deal with the Ruiz loss fallout, still backing Joshua. All I know is that Fury is rated #1 because he is unbeaten. Wilder had his time as #1 then was dropped when he lost his ‘0’, same for Joshua. Fury is a great boxer, but not a real champion. Joshua is good boxer and a great champion. That’s why my money is on him - I want a good representation of a Champion as undisputed, not a proven cheat. I’m sure there will be Fury’s legion of trolls ready to cut and paste their standard **** into quick reply.I just so happen to agree with you because Tyson Fury is currently being too overhyped by his fanbase. They believe that he is invincible and cannot be defeated. I can see him buckling and breaking from under all the pressure unlike Wilder and Joshua because they already have their L's so the pressure is definitely off them. So far, Fury is the only one who hasn't got his.

That’s a comparison right there lol. I’m not saying he’s not the WBC Champion and rated #1 by a lot of respected sources, 100% he is. But that’s temporary by Fury’s own admission; He’ll vacate the WBC before he has to take on Whyte - not the actions of a ‘True’ Champion, my friend. Fury is not the legitimate champion of the entire division until he beats AJ or whoever holds the other 3 belts. Fury had all the belts when he beat Wlad but he lost them all by taking over 3 years off just as any other boxer would. AJ and Wilder won the belts he forfeited for being out of boxing for three plus years. he has no one to blame but himself. He is only the WBC champ now and AJ owns all other real world titles. Call him lineal if you want but he really lost that title as well by 3 years out and lineal has no real value anyway. I think the AJ before he fought Ruiz would be favored to win. he showed a somewhat weak chin and a lack of determination in the first fight. Then after promising a brutal revenge KO of Ruiz in the rematch he won every round by fighting a safety first fight and never went after Ruiz or hurt him.
