I agree with people's opinion that you should show yourself both in your city and outside it. After all, this is more a professional sport than an amateur one. I advise you to Google different events in other cities or even countries and look for cheap tickets there. I have a friend who gives concerts in different cities in the same way and promotes his musical group. He does it quite successfully, and he has already looked at a lot of European cities at the same time. I know that he recently found a website that provides free tour Berlin and now he is flying there in two weeks. So do not be afraid guys, and you will succeed
:lol1: Oh man, we've a **** ****tail. :lol1:
The AA community is mad. The white retired dudes don't understand why they shouldn't drive their Duke's replicas and stuff like that. People arguing in front of Walmart.
You've angry kids and stubborn old men. It's not dangerous or anything like that but as a community the mix of G.Floyd and opening up the state a bit more hasn't been a pleasant coming together here.
Looks like everything has bubbled up. Fortunate for me them type of "daisy duke whites" were chased out of Miami by the cartels back in the 70s. The Pro-slavery Traitor flags haven't been an issue down here for decades. The anger and never really left miami- we had one of the most expensive "riots" in US history back in the 80s. However, most protestors down here are white cubans. They're the majority. Good to have people with some sense can realize what the issue is
Yep, I make prosthetics for a living.
I'm in Miami born n raised, the actual Miami not just the Miami area. How are things on your end going now that we're opening up a little?
You are expected to travel all the time.
It's a big reason (but not the only) I am not / was not more active as an amateur. I was expected to travel across the state for every other fight. All out of pocket.
That's why I laugh at people who disrespect athletes and dont even understand the journey and sacrifice
Can a amateur boxer have a good career just fighting local ?

The National tournaments that get you ranked and into the USABoxing team are held in different parts of the nation.
USABoxing holds a National tournament for the East , West , Central regions then one they call a National.
In other words. If you wanna get noticed in the Amateurs and get the backing when you're transitioning to the Pros. You're gonna have to travel.

Nope
Unless you are the next superstar imo
Fighters have it hard and most of the time they are obliged to travel
In the end , it depends on what you want
