1) Ike ibeabucci
2) Mike Tyson
3) Oliver McCall are the three that come to mind. This is the hurt business, you have to be at least semi crazy to do it.
Ike, telling everyone to address him as the president, psycho abuse charges from call girls
Mike. Was basically homicidal when he bit holyfield s ear, a self professed or at least by Robin givens, a manic depressive.
Oliver. Would rather cry and sob in a prizefight rather than fight for a living!
What are examples of you guys seeing guys go crazy in the head?
PS: riddick bowe after his career kidnapping his wife and kids, btw this business is 90% mental says the great teddy atlas', so **** is bound to happen!
remember frank bruno was sectioned and when they rang the dinner bell he came out and punched one of the residents
Wow
That’s a little crazy I’d think
Something loose on that board
Graziano and Foreman. How so.?
Foreman has always been a strange dude. After his loss to Jimmy Young he hallucinated, ran out of the dressing room naked screaming he saw Jesus. Some dismiss it as dehydration or heat exhaustion, but I've never seen anyone do that from dehydration. He also just has a way about him when you listen to him, he's not the cuddly teddy bear you think he is.
Graziano was a violent sociopath in his youth. Came from an abusive, alcoholic father who forced him to fight other kids when was a child so he and his friends could place bets. Read his book, watch the movie, bring up some of his interviews if you can. Doesn't mean he didn't have any cognitive abilities, but he had some issues to say the least.
I'd say quite a few have some form of mental illness, you have to be a little half-c o c k e d to want to fight for a living in the first place. Many of them end up brain damaged along the way which leads some forms of mental impairment.
Aside from all the ones mentioned already I would add:
Vinny Pazienza
George Foreman
Ricardo Mayorga
Johnny Tapia
Paulie Spadafora
Iran Barkley
Roger Mayweather
Rocky Graziano
Tyson Fury

Some of these guys are just criminals? Throw in punches to the head and drugs and will be a lot of casualties. Golota must be somewhat unhinged. Hatton and Calzaghe hit the Coke and had severe depression. There are some lesser known British fighters. Sykes. Cleverly.

You’re on a giant rock shooting through space and your major concern is what you’ll pick up at the grocery store tomorrow. Maybe you’re the one who is mentally ill.
Hey man I respect your opinion, but do a turn next time. Just think of all the people affected by George Floyd and the covid 19. It's easy to hate, harder to love, but just remember that 9 count and that amount of minutes before you judge somebody.
Edwin Valero? Former WBC lightweight champion “El Terminator” Edwin Valero committed suicide in his Venezuelan prison cell.
Valero, established a world record by winning his first 18 prizefights by first round knockout, was forced by court orders to seek help after he was taken into custody on charges that he harassed his wife and threatened medical personnel who treated her in a hospital.
Edwin Valero was a great boxing talent who, with the proper mindset, could have become one of the greatest pound-for-pound pugilists in the history of the sport.
Regrettably, Edwin Valero instead was a repugnant individual who descended into a cold-blooded killer.
Valero is a fascinating character. The motorbike accident he had as a teenager possibly had an impact on his behaviour as he wasn't wearing a helmet and probably had a brain injury as a result.
They should make an English language film about his life. They made a film in Venezuela called El Inca that was the first Venezuelan film to be banned in the cinemas.
