hes already made like 50 million dollars in his career so it puzzles me why you would keep going after making that much but i think rich people get tempted by more more more. its not really about the money in a use value sense He's definitely made more than 50M. Heck, he just made 30M in his last two fights against Derevyanchenko and Rolls...That is if he is truly getting 15M a fight as reported. But he is still able to fight at an high level. And the more money he makes, the more it helps his family for generations to come. Rarely will a fighter turn down this type of money.

I believe Nelo when he says that he fights for Legacy. He is a throw back fighter. He already has money but he does not want to get ripped off by fighter asking for big ass purses especially ones that don't deserve it or have a fan base. I will not be a fan of Nelo if he is not down to fight Saunders, Smith, and Beterbev. He will fight them. Charlo is a nobody and chasing Nelo for that pay day and I hope Canelo doesnt fight him until Charlo fights x champs or current champs. The Bivol fight might happen in the future but not now. They do have similar age ( I think they are both 29) so they can fight at a later time. Bivol might be too much for Canelo right now. Andrade is a boring ass fight for Nelo and there is the possibility that he could outbox Nelo. With the Canelo run in the future he will take an L eventually but thats because it will be an epic run. thats true larry but just mapping out his career over the next year if he goes old kovalev, brings dervy up in weight, then brings old ggg up in weight thats going to be a very lackluster run. he has guys to fight at 160, 168, or 175. ggg or andrade at 160, charlo if the politics work out. callum smith at 168 or saunders, and beterbev or bivol at 175. Happy for Sergey - he deserves another shot at the big dogs. Good fight for Canelo too, legitimate opponent, and he can entice G into the 3rd fight.

I highly doubt Canelo fights anyone without a strap. I can see a benavidez match but that's a tough sell. They probably just go back to the original deal to fights BJS.

yes i know but do you believe that? why would they go down to 160 when they dont have to? it doesnt make much sense. if they do ok thats great but i dont see them giving away their size advantage if the dont have to. against floyd they had to drain themselves. dont think they would ever risk that again but once again if he does ok why will they even talk about it if is not in their plans? canelos main reason to fight ggg is the extra money that dazn puts there, but i guess he wouldnt mind leaving ggg without belts again... they will go to 160 for ggg, his belts and the money, dervy brings none of that... now i agree there are better fights for canelo at 168... but after this long layoff is understandable to not take over the big dogs right after ... remeber they already tried to apraoch 3 of the 4 champs at 168 before the covid situation... i expect him to go back at them after the ggg fight...
