So now that it looks like Lomachenko vs Lopez will indeed be next, does it outperform Davis vs LSC? Both fights should be happening around August-September time frame. There were some talks from Arum and Lopez that Lomachenko wanted a tune up fight first but looks like they are going right to the unification fight.
Which card, if any, will YOU be purchasing?
Neither fight is a PPV. But just based on name and popularity in North America, it's not even comparable. Aside from the hardcores, not many know Loma or Lopez much.
So now you are twisting my words. Again America doesn’t = the whole world. There is a world in around America, I said I “Wouldn’t expect Tank v Lopez” to do more numbers in the Ukraine.
Am not here arguing if foreigners who have huge immigrants in America do more PPV buys. Pacman has Filipinos in America, Latinos - Mexicans have a community in America. I don’t need to explain those aspect for you to grasp.
I'm still not quite sure we're you're taking this conversation. Let's try again.
You said Davis vs LSC does better numbers because Mexican-Americans buy anything. So you're implying that fight does better numbers because it involves LSC, correct?
Why would I pull that out? Because simple, you said Tank/LSC does better numbers than Lomachenko/Lopez because Mexican-Americans would buy anything with their fighters....So then by that logic, if LSC is instead fighting Lomachenko, the same would happen, correct?
No, I'm not disagreeing that Lomachenko in Ukraine wouldn't do better numbers....What I'm saying is in America, it's not just about being American that helps sell better. More than any other country, you have outsiders that become huge draws and do better numbers than Americans themselves. You could take GGG and put him in America and he can do seven figure live gates. You can't take Errol Spence and put him in the Ukraine and have him do the types of numbers he does in America.

I'd suspect similar numbers.
Tank is probably more popular than any of the 4, but the Loma vs Teo fight is better. Tank is selling his fight by himself & Loma vs Teo is selling off of the wtf is gonna happen factor. Maybe 200-250k range for both.
I think Bob would be VERY happy with Lomachenko/Lopez doing 200-250k buys.
No the analogy works, because America doesn’t = the whole world. So if Lomachenko is fighting on PPV In the Ukraine then I would expect him to sell more.
So what if I said Mexican-Americans would buy a fight with their boxers in it? Aren’t they from North America? Why would that even be something that you would pull out? Lol.

But you just said in your prior post that Mexican-Americans will buy anything with their fighters?
And that analogy of Ukraine doesn't really work. You have plenty of non-Americans that sell better than Americans in America. Pacquiao and Canelo are the two best ticket sellers and PPV draws right now...Both non-Americans. Guys like GGG were doing much better numbers than Americans in their weight classes like say Jacobs or Charlo.

No, an American should always do better when you match make in that way. Just like I wouldn’t expect Davis v Lopez to do more numbers in the Ukraine.

Loma doesnt sell well and Lopez has mo brand yet.
LSC is established and Mexican American and Tank has a good advertising scheme w/ Mayweather Promotions. Actually all this rioting in stuff will probably be spun in Davis benefit for attracting fans in the training camp show
LW is in a golden era as they have those 4 PLUS Garcia and Haney and that doesnt include Linares or all the top available contenders. Best division in boxing imho
So say if Lomachenko fought LSC on PPV and Davis fought Lopez, you think Lomachenko vs LSC does better numbers?

Mexican Americans buy anything with their fighter in there. There is a reason why they are bringing up these smaller boxers to fight someone like Spence and Tank on their respective first PPV.
