Collins made a name beating washed up fighters like Eubank
Collins retired when he had to fight his mandatory Calzaghe, pulled out right before the fight, he knew his time was up and Calzaghe was good, young and hungry.
Chris Eubank was not washed up, but Nigel Benn was etc
I always felt like Eubank should of won the rematch.
Goodness me the conditioning of the middleweights back then seemed immense 'Froch was the only middleweight in recent times who looked solid'.
Roy avoided "Collings", Benn, and 'Bank like a plague.
He did fight a wannabe Benn named Richard Hall.
He relied on feints in that fight as well.
Have to agree but I think we could still beat mike

:lol1:Benn did look like Richard Hall. Good Shout.
Roy fought and beat a prime James Toney at 168. He’d have made easy work of Benn or Collins. Was a big fan of Steve Collins as a kid though. I remember being the only kid in school who picked him to beat Eubank.:lol1:
