Just curious to know the truth of the matter. Deontay hasn't really acheived anything in the professional game outside of beating other US-hyped opponents and tomato cans. His "fans" seem to spend more time hating on Fury and Joshua, and trying to tear them down with insults and slander. Seems a lot of them don't actually know much about Boxing, hell a lot of them don't even know much about Deontay.
Fury has proven himself to be THE MAN since he took the Lineal title from Wladimir Klitschko, and Joshua holds an Olympic gold (which is better than a bronze for those who don't know), and Joshua has beaten a string of much stronger opponents than Deontay in the Pros also.
You don't have to live in denial to be a Deontay fan. Why does that seem to be the case with a lot of these fools? It irks them more to see that Deontay is clearly not on Fury and Joshua's levels, he remains unproven even against fighters like Dillian Whyte and Joseph Parker. He has never beaten a bonafide World contender. Never, not one.
Fury is clearly #1 and Joshua currently sits at #2. Below that we have Oleksandr Usyk, Whyte and Andy Ruiz Jr., followed by a mix of Parker, Kubrat Pulev, Michael Hunter, Alexander Povetkin and Deontay.
It seems to me that the majority of his "fans" seem more irked by the dominance of Fury and Joshua than anything. Fury gave your man a chance two times over, and schooled and battered him. Yes AJ lost, be he redeemed it. Your boy Deontay has been hackysacked out of the equation. When he finally stepped up to fight a genuine World-level opponent he got totally outclassed.
Deal with it, and stop badmouthing the Top 2. Your boy is yet to prove himself even Top 5.
If you don't have fans for any given fighter this place would be boring.
Anyway, how many Wilder threads are you planning to continue making. Soon you be his biggest fan.
I think everyone of those 3 diehard fans are as bad as each other, Fury diehard fans attack Wilder and Joshua more, Joshua diehard fans attack Fury and Wilder more, whilst Wilder fans attack everyone of those two. One because Wilder ducked Joshua, and two because Fury beat their king.
I pretty much don’t care to be honest, the facts are they are the top 3 (4 If you put Whyte over Wilder due to Wilder’s terrible resume) and they should all fight each other.
seems like a lot of fans go by nationality or region second so id say he does have real fans, tho they will disappear if he loses the next fury fight in an embarrassing fashion id say

It seems to me the Wilder haters are just as abundant cause they keep making threads about him. I am a Wilder fan through and through but more importantly a fan of the sport. Therefore I can respect all 3 fighters equally. AJ has a HUGE following and is truly turning into not only a massive superstar that future generations of fans will talk about but also turning into quite a talented boxer considering his lack of deep pedigree and small amount of amateur experience.
Fury was born to box and is somewhat of a rubix cube. It's hard to fathom how a big man moves and flows the way he does and right now he's the man to beat. Inside and outside the ring. He seems to have turned his life around from the wrecking ball he once was.
All that said I'm a Wilder fan. I'm hoping he can manage to bounce back and not only beat Fury but also completely unify against AJ and become larger than life himself. Odds are against him but to me that's just 1 of the appealing things about the guy that makes me a fan.
What posses people to hate on any 1 fighter in particular I may never figure out. I could see if they were banging your wife or daughter how that could cause so much anger and animosity. Other than that the endless threads about loving or hating any particular fighter is beyond me.
