So let me guess this they are the only stay that allows Xylocaine pre fight and only Nevada allows this type of stacking? If NSAC allows it and you fight there , you really can't complain.
GGG should never agree to fight Canelo in Vegas for the rubber match. MSG or Texas instead.
I love how everything is a conspiracy against Canelo, according to some of his fans. When there's that many accusations of abuse, of varying offenses, it should be no surprise that people have, to some degree, reservations about him. It's not a matter of jealousy either. Whether time vilifies or vindicates him, we shall see.
GGG should wrap his hands in the exact same fashion. Let’s see what happens then.
Canelo doesn't even have his hands wrapped in that fashion for sparring.
You can tell by the sloppy job they did.
Abel complaining about the wraps were strategic moves from Loeffler and his pals to fool the public a couple weeks away from the rematch.
We only learned about it later just like Hauser saved his hit piece with IVgate right before the Berto fight to derail #49. These are always industry games by paid writers...
Abel filed a protest after the fact. Bob Bennett has to waste his time getting consulting from various within industry including Stitch. Of course they take into account the other states that have inconsistencies with each other with different size gauze too.
Abel has to prove that the situation would be an advantage and industry could not prove any advantage with the wraps since the point is to protect the hands.
Abel tried the game, but it didn’t work. As Robert Garcia said, Abel doesn’t wrap that way nor has had the luxury to do it often... and I don’t believe Abel’s has wrapped the same conditions in all his years in the sport.
Again, as stitch said, “all bullshet.” Just mindgames to get into Team Canelo’s head and trick fans like yourself.
Trick fans like myself into saying the NSAC should change its guidelines and adopt the same rules as the rest of the boxing commissions. That's just common sense there is no need to trick anyone. I agree with Sanchez. Plus I've always wondered why the NSAC forced Canelo to rewrap his hands before the fight with Fielding. Glad you cleared that up. I also wondered why the rest of the country doesn't allow this type of hand wrapping. I'm sure you will come up with something more creative for this question.
He asked him because obviously he didn't know the answer. My hunch is he may have been considering bringing Nevada in line with other jurisdictions.
Vegas and Canelo aren't strangers to controversy over gloves and hand wrappings.

Lara complained also about how Canelo's hands are wrapped. Canelo was ordered to rewrap his hands before getting in the ring with Fielding.
It's time Vegas puts this behind them and adopts the regulations other jurisdictions have.
What Sanchez, Lara and Fielding complained about is way the tape is used to wrap the wrist. According to Sanchez it stiffens it up and makes the wrist area a cast. If your wrist doesn't flex then more energy goes into the punch.
It's all about having an even playing field.
If that's true, I'd also be worried about when guys miss with a hook and hit them with the wrist.

Can't agree. If like Stitch says, it's not a matter of how much tape you use then why are there rules that limit the amount of tape you can use. He says he wraps his fighters hands in a similar manner. Obviously he has a bias. I really can't see him as an unbiased observer here. He's not going to say oh no that's illegal. But Stitch isn't that how you wrap hands?? Whether Canelo's hand wraps give him an advantage is up for debate but this video settles nothing. If it's not within the rules then it's not allowed. Bennett has to ask someone else if it's illegal or an advantage for a fighter. Really???
