both the ring and tbrb have berchelt #1 and santa cruz unranked. why wouldnt you recognize them? because tank never fights anyone they consider good? are they biased against his bum opponents by not having them ranked? you think santa cruz is better at 130 then berchelt based on beating 2 bums? and you dont think this is biased in any way? this is why they have ranking boards compromised of many members from around the world in order to prevent that kind of bias from creeping into the rankings. also dont you think it looks really bad that tank never fights anyone they consider good even if you dont "recognize" them. doesnt the perception that he is fighting bums make him look bad? I remember that. When the fight came in Cotto looked HUMONGOUS next to Paulie, like they look 2 weight classes apart. And still went the distance with him. Yep, Cotto looked like a middleweight in the ring on fight night compare to Paulie who did look like a light welterweight. Boxing has always been shady, nothing is going to change. This fight isn’t a competitive fight. It’s a cash grab for both, they would use Cruz’s heritage/Latino to try and get PPV going. Same way they used Mikey Garcia for Spence, I just wish the Latino fans starts getting smarter and stop buying these farcical PPVs. Especially the ones where their guy has zero chance.

Tank Davis is going to get a boxing lesson! :boxing: Not a chance in hell. Your man love aside, Leo Santa Cruz has no advantages in this fight. Davis is faster (both hand and foot), considerably bigger, younger, is more coordinated and is a helluva lot more powerful with any punch you name. Leo gonna get butchered.

Cruz feels brittle and ancient at this point with all that idiotic inactivity and career fuckup. He isn't any better than Russell. I also don't like the fight, but at 130, it's a fair game. what will tanks penalty be for not making weight? just a couple 100k? what a farce. santa cruz isnt even in the top 10 and for good reason. he's had 2 fights there against nobodies. one guy had lost 2 of 3 going into the fight and the other had been ko'd in 2 of 4 fights going into the fight.

Tank Davis is going to get a boxing lesson! :boxing:I think Leo has a great opportunity here - guy throws a lot of punches all 12 rounds, and Davis gets lazy for multiple rounds at a time... Factor in how Tank might be affected by the weight loss and you have a 50/50 fight. Big Mexican crowd in LA also.

Cruz got his wish. And I don’t blame him. At 135 he would have been slaughtered, at 130 the beating wouldn’t be as bad as it would have been at 135. That’s my thinking Even if he gets down to 130 , he still gonna hydrate 15 pounds at least I do give Leo a chance though at 130 He’s gonna have to fight his ass off

Will there be massive penalty for missing weight?

A small fighter whose moved up several times and cant break a grape at 126/130 vs a weight bully who barely made 135 in his last fight, who will rehydrate 20+ pounds by the time of the fight if he even manages to make 130 in the first place.

Davis is already preparing to come in an hour late to the weigh in and still come overweight I remember they did some dodgy stuffs like that with Cotto when he was about to fight Paulie M, they push the weigh in forward, so that cotto would have a couple of days to rehydrate.
