what I really like about this thread... it is completely different to recent similar threads about Pacquiao and Golovkin... this thread keeps it 100% real
there has only been one thing mentioned in this thread for Holyfield.... NAMES !
this is a no-bullshlt thread, dudes are keeping it real
not one ass-clown has whipped out his box of nameless achievements (bullshlt).... like everyone does with Pacquiao, when trying to equate him with Mayweather... and like everyone does with Golovkin, when they are trying to equate pretend that Golovkin is great
like I always said...
WHO did you beat... with consideration given to when/how
nothing else matters
there is no bullshlt with Holyfield, and with Holyfield fans... like there is with Pacquiao, and Pacquiao fans LMAO... and like there is with Golovkin, and his shabby fanbase
names are the only thing you mention, if you intend to talk about greatness
sitting there wowing about the names a fighter beat is how you revere true greatness... adding in wank and dribble that is not criteria for greatness... is how you fanboy a fighter, and embarrass yourself... and look, there are no arguments in this thread, because you cannot argue about the only facts that matter
to summarize... threads about guys like Holyfield are smaller... but 100% real, and totally bullshlt-free...

that post is WAY too real for this site lol

Overrated mental cases like Bowe and Tyson are still worshiped far more than Holyfield, but he was the better fighter.
Bit of Klitschko syndrome I guess. Not enough circus.
AJ beat Ruiz Jr, Parker, Klitco, and Whyte. Guys who are the equivalent of your list in that exact same order.
That sounds like a vagìnal implement company to me.
Cool thread bud.
Tillis, Thompson, Dokes, Ruiz, Moorer, Toney, Byrd, Mercer, Rahman, Oquendo, Ibragimov, Valuev, Nielsen, Buster and Botha aren't exactly unknowns themselves.
Holy went out of his way to fight guys folks know that's for sure. Win or lose, prime or not, most of Evander's record is recognizable and that's pretty special in boxing let alone the HW division.
Yeah, old Holy is the only guy from 90s that fought them all.
that list is ridiculous . Holy fought everyone !!!!
Fighting tough opposition for so long and remaining at the top for so long is incredible thinking about it. Holyfield was competitive throughout his whole career and fighting machines. Probably one of the most durable boxers to ever do it. Holyfield is probably the toughest to ever compete in the ring.
Fighters should get credit for fighting the best too. Not just who they beat.
It’s not saying much but he should’ve gotten a win over Valuev when he was like what, 50?
His full resume of fighters he beat and lost to:
Tyson 2x
Foreman
Bowe 3x
Qawi 2x
Holmes
Lewis 2x
Toney
Moorer
Ruiz 3x
Rahman
Byrd
Buster Douglas
Dokes
Valuev
Ibragimov
Mercer
There’s several more tough HW’s worth mentioning but I will just leave it at that.
That’s a heck of a lot of decent, good and great names to have fought.

U have to be kidding me . Joshua has Wlad that's it when it comes to legit famous names . And in North America wlad isn't exactly a household name himself .
He beat Mike Tyson, Holmes, Foreman, Bowe.
Who else has so many famous names?

Yeah when you look at his resume its stacked with names. Probably one of the best resumes win or lose of all time. His record is similar De La Hoya. He beat some seriously dangerous opponents in style and was never afraid to take on the best.
Top 5 HW of all time in my opinion. Let's not forget he was a monster at CW and beat the snot out of the division.
