AT THAT TIME, Barrera went in there with basic skill and beat this guy everyone fawned over. And yes, Hamed was a showman and the bright lights got him - as I've said multiple times, he should not lost that fight. Be we know what happened with the trainer and him not really training for the fight seriously. Later, Barrera went in against Manny with that same basic skill - because he fought the EXACT SAME WAY for the same reason - and got dominated. Twice. He never adapted to the different fighter in front of him. He fought the same way against Morales but with less activity and took an L. That's all fact bro. He had no signature wins outside of Agapito Sanchez before he beat Hamed - and his win over Hamed itself is what started his rise. If you honestly think that before Hamed, Barrera was an ATG, then you have to say the same about Chavez Jr. before he fought Canelo. Because their records were largely identical. I think revelated was trying to insinuate that Hamed was all hype and simply loved the bright lights while fighting as if it were sparring. Hamed fought sloppy and uncoordinated against Barrera. The difference in power was apparent as well since Barrera could effortlessly knock Hamed off his feet. Barrera’s composure to use “basic skills” or fundamentals actually clowned Hamed... so what does that make Hamed’s pedigree or Ring IQ... No that's not what he was trying to insinuate at all
