I’m gonna give some recognition to most delusional post of the month in honour of Amir Khan.
My nominations are:
Monzon99: Mayweather avoided Vivian Harris.
Boxing_1013: I don’t think Andre Ward boxed very well at the top level.
Boxing_1013: Monzon was amateurish.
BangEm: Wilder never knocked anyone out with one punch before the Stiverne rematch.
Oh Yea Ray J: Brook was on his way to becoming the greatest welterweight of our era.
Chollo Vista: Roberto Duran is not a top 5 Latino fighter.
Aboutf’ntime: Pac is not a top 3 fighter of the 2000’s
Laced up: Holyfield got KO’d by a fat middleweight.

First of all, why don't you use the MENTION tool properly.
Second, Uncle Al..varez seems to understand better than you what he saw that night. Because that's exactly correct.
AT THAT TIME, Barrera was a decent fighter. This is fact.
AT THAT TIME, Barrera was NOT a HOF level resume fighter. This is fact.
AT THAT TIME, Barrera went in there with basic skill and beat this guy everyone fawned over. And yes, Hamed was a showman and the bright lights got him - as I've said multiple times, he should not lost that fight. Be we know what happened with the trainer and him not really training for the fight seriously.
Later, Barrera went in against Manny with that same basic skill - because he fought the EXACT SAME WAY for the same reason - and got dominated. Twice. He never adapted to the different fighter in front of him. He fought the same way against Morales but with less activity and took an L. That's all fact bro.
Your narrative and that of too many others is a history rewriting "Naseem lost to a HOF'er" - no he did not. He lost to a decent fighter with basic skill. AT THAT TIME. He had no signature wins outside of Agapito Sanchez before he beat Hamed - and his win over Hamed itself is what started his rise.
If you honestly think that before Hamed, Barrera was an ATG, then you have to say the same about Chavez Jr. before he fought Canelo. Because their records were largely identical. Padded with signature losses.
Lol I am glad you came in here...classic
Toney was so much more than a “fat middleweight”. :lol1:
Wasn’t he FOTY that year?
It’s all just banter anyway.
Agreed bro haha but I know what was being referenced when it was said even tho toney wasnt really fat when he stopped holy . He was just bigger he was actually not fat at all like his later heavyweight days
I mean technically it's true :lol1: it's certainly an understatement about two ATG's though.
Haha they are all pretty bad, but didnt holy kind of get stopped by a fat middleweight?? James toney ??
It was intended to be 'factual' but without context.
Both were ATGs of course.

Mayweather ducking Vivian Harris is a joke statement.
Harris really thought the he was the best thing in boxing and he was trash
This is right when maussa became Harris's father . Lol . That about sums it up .

I think revelated was trying to insinuate that Hamed was all hype and simply loved the bright lights while fighting as if it were sparring.
Hamed fought sloppy and uncoordinated against Barrera. The difference in power was apparent as well since Barrera could effortlessly knock Hamed off his feet. Barrera’s composure to use “basic skills” or fundamentals actually clowned Hamed... so what does that make Hamed’s pedigree or Ring IQ...
No that's not what he was trying to insinuate at all

Barrera
Marquez
Morales
De La Hoya
Hatton
Cotto
and a **** ton of titles. You don't have to like a fighter to appreciate their talent and skill. Proof this dude doesn't know **** about boxing.
