Sure seems like it to me considering PBC/fans want to ignore or discredit him.
Ali: "Joe Frazier is an Uncle Tom. He works for the enemy."
Ali: "He's the other type Negro, he's not like me," "There are two types of slaves, Joe Frazier's worse than you to me … That's what I mean when I say Uncle Tom, I mean he's a brother, one day he might be like me, but for now he works for the enemy"
Thoughts?
Ali was wrong to use Joe Frazier in that way.
Joe Frazier was no uncle tom and neither is Terrence Crawford
Both guys were as real as it comes.
Frazier even helped Ali out financially when he was in exile.
I love Ali, think he's the GOAT heavyweight, but that was wrong as hell.
I'm sure Ali wouldn't argue your point.
Ali: "I'm sorry Joe Frazier is mad at me. I'm sorry I hurt him. Joe Frazier is a good man, and I couldn't have done what I did without him, and he couldn't have done what he did without me. And if God ever calls me to a holy war, I want Joe Frazier fighting beside me. "
Ali: "I said a lot of things in the heat of the moment that I shouldn't have said. Called him names I shouldn't have called him. I apologise for that. I'm sorry. It was all meant to promote the fight."

Bwahahahhaha, mods delete this thread!
Why? Nothing wrong was said. I see way more people get away with referring to Mexicans as food and they still post.

I wouldn’t call him the new joe Frazier. There are too many differences in 60’s/ 70’s America and today. Plus Frazier and Ali and all those guys made fights with each other no questions asked. As far as the shade he gets from some fans, it’s a matter of preference. I don’t think PBC fans ( if such exclusive boxing fans even exist) think of him as a sell out. But the politics of sport to today may paint as being complacent. But I don’t think a former undisputed champ( 140) isn’t chasing greatness. Bud is a very good fighter and very respectable champion. Granted his reign isn’t the best in welterweight history, it’s far from the worse reigns there’s been in recent boxing at any category.
