Youve got to be kidding, Barkley could not carry Roys gym bag at 160..
Roy would get a KO over Duran like Hearns, too big, too fast, too slick.
I have explained the Hearns thing here many times.
Duran was intoxicated and playing F Salsa on tv in the DR 3 weeks before the fight, never trained for that one. Durán was just "living the life" at that point in time.

I don't see how that would be possible. If it was 168 or 175 then yes but at 160...No chance in Hades.
MDP wins by mid round stoppage.
The Duran that beat Barkley would've pummeled 160 lb Roy Jones. That wasn't Roy's best weight.

How the hell is he wrong, when he was in there with both.
Thats his own personal experience
Well he is not wrong from his perspective and how he felt, but he can be if the power of both was accurately measured by instruments, its a weird thing how punching power and resistance are not a constant, it can feel different on different days, some days you can really get the power on the end of the punches other days youre a bit off, a kind off micro timing thing where youre not on the button, same with taking a punch some days a good shot bounces off the next day you feel buzzed by the same shot.
It can be believable. Rahman said Corrie Sanders power was off the charts the hardest he ever been hit. But he stopped Sanders. He was in the ring with Tua and Lewis and they stopped him. He said it did not matter though as Sanders left hand was a nightmare to deal with.

Well I'm sold. The media told him to say Duran hits harder than RJJ.
Everything is induced.
I think he is looking for something to say and I would bet Vinny got hit by them and he did not.
Don't argue with someone. who wasn't even there.
Hahahahahahahahahahaha
Won’t be wasting to much time on this one lol
Translation: I like Duran more and get along cooler with Duran so I feel obligated to say Duran hit me harder than Roy even though the video evidence proves otherwise.
Leading up to those fights there was a lot of bad blood between Paz and Duran. They did not like one another. No love lost between Paz and Jones either, so it's not like he had a cordial relationship with either one of them.
He is wrong of course. Jones hit much harder than Duran. They were both hard punchers but Jones was a few weight classes bigger and KOed many light heavyweights which is something Duran could not do as he rarely KOed guys at 160. Jones slaughtered and stopped Vinnie and Duran lost to Duran. If duran hit harder than Jones he would have won all he fights with Leonard. Boxers sometimes say ridiculous wrong things and maybe this was just a dig at Jones because Jones clearly hit harder than Duran and you don't need to be hit by both of them to know this. Just use your common sense and go by actual results you see in the ring.
So the guy who fought them both is wrong about who hit him harder? Interesting. FWIW, I'm a fan of both Duran and Jones, so I'm not choosing one over the other as a bias. I would say most of Jones' KO's were a result of his speed, and the punches his opponents couldn't see coming. Many fighters also cite that there is different types of punching power from a fighter. Many HW's said that Foreman had a very thudding type of power that shook you to your core, whereas fighters like Tyson had a more snappier type of power, often time the KO's came from his combination punching that created openings.
Jones has a 62.67% KO ratio over 75 fights. Jones winning 47 of his fights by KO.
Duran has a 58.82% KO ratio over 119 fights. Duran winning 70 of his fights by KO.
As you can see, their numbers aren't too far off. It's not beyond reason that Paz would claim Duran hit him harder.
But what’s the conspiracy threat here

Don’t see why he’d bullchit about it

And what conspiracy can you draw out of this one ?
