He’s 35 and had one official loss (2 in reality) to the guy that ended Wlad’s reign and clearly the best HW of this era.
Wilder has cemented himself as a top HW in this era, there’s just a guy that’s too good for the rest right now in Fury.
Hardly means he’s been exposed. He lost to a top level fighter. Broner was already having close fights with a faded Paulie already before he lost.
He can still wipe the floor with big stiff idiots like AJ.
Broner is a bad example. He is undefeated under 147. He loses because of his lack of professionalism in between fights caused him to get too heavy.
Wilder lost to a better man, as did Lacy.
I wouldn’t take the immediate rematch if I was wilder. I haven’t like the way he responded to the loss. Terrible. Immature. I honestly don’t know if he isn’t permanently damaged mentally.
I assume he loses to fury again unless he somehow is using the pandemic to work on his craft and fury is doing coke again.
2 of Broner’s loses were under 147 if I recall correctly
I agree though about Wilder and Lacy losing to better men but they were really not that good as they were hyped to be.
‘The next Mike’?
‘Better than Mike’?
Smh
Problem I see with Wilder is his resume is so bad.
He needs to beat someone other than Ortiz with a name. It's hard to judge how good he is when his second best win is Bermane Stiverne
Fury obviously.
AJ??? 50/50? Which AJ? Ruiz 1 or 2 AJ???
Your INSANE picking a 22 year old. Hgrovic.
This is boxing you send someone too green that fast up the chain you gonna get them hurt.
I would bet Wilder to beat everyone but Fury.
It kills me to see boxing fans dismiss a bronze medal winner with 10 title defenses because of a loss. If he was that terrible he wouldn't have that type of accomplishments IMO
Does he have what it takes to beat likes of Whyte, Ruiz, Parker or even Rivas and Kownacki?
He beats Whyte in under 4 rounds, Whyte will try to go for it and get caught
He beats Ruiz by late stoppage
He out points Parker
Rivas is a counter puncher with a 10 inch reach disadvantage to Wilder, this won't end pretty
Kownacki has no defense or chin

The only thing Wilder is going to bounce off of is the canvas. Has to step aside for a fight or two otherwise history will repeat itself.
😂😂
I don’t even think a tuneup would help, he’s what 35? I think it’s too late to try and evolve his style.
I think he’s just got to go out there and go for it and try to get lucky. If there was ever a fight were somebody only has a punchers chance it’s this third fight.
I think he beats all of them, Parker might be his toughest opponent as he would just run around for 12 rounds. Whyte would try and stay on his chest, Ruiz would try and use his quick hands but I still see him getting flattened, Kownacki would use his face as his defence and Rivas would get chinned.

do you see Wilder being the next Jeff Lacy or Broner or he can bounce back from this? | BoxingScene Community
