Well that's boxing. Someone has to make these choices and the A Side will always have the upper hand.
Should Joshua have fought a near 300 lb, shorter guy in a phone booth? Absolutely not. That would give Ruiz an advantage.
If you want to be the one who makes those choices, all you have to do is consistently win big fights, win and defend belts and be a global megastar. Easy isn't it?
Hearn must have have put a lot of stipulations into the rematch clause that Ruiz had to accept in order to get the first fight.
I see. The weight issue was completely on him but it's still a shame. Ruiz has absolutely no leverage to ever get his rematch against the "champion" even though he deserves it.
I'm no expert on boxing negotiations but how was this possible? He had all the belts and Joshua didn't. How could he not just refuse to fight in an oversized ring in the middle of the desert?

I don't think Ruiz had much choice. Even though he won the first fight he had very little leverage on his purse or the fight location.

But he did have absolute control of the type of shape he was in for the fight.
Coincidence or deliberate A-side tactics?
And why aren't all rings the same standard size?
- -U so fathaid?
And fat!
Rings, purses, venues always been negotiable.
What grade U in?
Ruiz apparently signed off on it. The guy had no plan, except to go in and try to do the same thing he did the first time (his words). On top of that, he came in fatter than ever, so he obviously didn't want it bad enough. How someone puts themselves in a contest which requires physical fitness, yet shows up absolutely unfit is puzzling. The ring size is not why he lost that fight.

Legal but rarely used. And typically it’s 16’ - 20’ 9o% of the time
I don’t know for sure if it’s legal in all states? Maybe that was why fight was staged there???

Why did Joshua need a 22 x 22 foot ring by the way?
Weak minded people make excuses, you were making one for Joshua... let’s hear more about that...
Why did Joshua need a 22 + 22 foot ring? Refer to my first post in your thread :rofl:
Nah, you got you proof, like I said you can cure ignorance but you can’t cure stupidity. Let’s talk more about your Joshua getting KTFO. Isn’t that why you got triggered in the first place?
You can have your OPINION about how Andy Ruiz is mentally weak. Just take your L.

So you can't prove that Andy Ruiz said in his own words that he was mentally weak? That's what I thought. :lol1:
Next time don't come in here talking about facts and opinions if you don't actually have any facts.

Yeah with the saudi prince hosting, as well as keeping the ring afterwards, just maybe 24'x24' fit his man cave better. They must have went 18' at MSG so AJ could get his US debut highlight knockout....man that backfired!
Nah let’s talk more about how Joshua got KTFO. That seems to help you out mentally. Distracts from your king getting smashed.

Show me where Andy Ruiz said he was mentally weak. I want facts not your opinion, remember.
