back in 2009,2010,2011.....people were stocking on him to defeat the klitschkos and bring back the HW division, people were literally calling him the savior of the HW division
yall really hated Wlad that bad huh, and his reign. It was a crazy time
I remember Heavyweight boxing was virtually non existent before Haye moved up in weight.
Those Klitschko fights were awful! No one was tuning in and the division was in desperate need of an exciting champion with a little bit of charisma.
David Haye was perfect for the role, he just fell short when he finally got the opportunity
Exciting champion? His Valuev, Klit, and Harrison fights were anything but exciting. He threw less punches than Wlad against Fury in the Valuev fight for example.

if that's the case, then you should love Tyson Fury since the dude is all full of charisma and also walks the walk.
but we all know why you don't like him, not enough melanin huh?
To be fair, Haye tried to bring a bit more excitement to a very very dull division at the time. He talked and had little stunts like decapitated klitschko head shirts etc.
Never really worked out too well but he tried to make it a bit exciting
The division was awful then
Broken toe haye was a bum. Talked a lot of **** against Wlad and got his ass kicked. Kind of like Wilder against Fury. Also Holyfield did more against Valuev than Haye and Haye pulled out of Fury fights.
