Well the WBC and WBA have Mikey top 5 so if you’re basing your rankings upon that then surely you have to give Spence a tonne of credit. It's not a good win. Vargas hasn't been relevant in a long, long time. He was also better at 140, shutout by Pacman, and Bradley, drew with ATG Adrien Broner, but he did beat hypejob Sadam Ali. But if you want to believe Vargas is some legitimate contender now (or ever for that matter), sure. It's a win at WW against a guy who was better as a JWW and is feather-fisted. Mikey remains irrelevant as a WW and Spence gets 0 credit (from me). People bash Mikey for not trying to win, but I place ALL the blame on SPENCE for that fight. Spence fight cautious and couldnt even hurt a LIGHTWEIGHT. Embarassing. Floyd is not "Man Down" Floyd...he's always been a safety first fighter. And even Floyd managed a KD and had JMM hurt in the 11th. Floyd was also coming off a layoff. Floyd gets some credit, but Errol gets zero. You have to give them some credit based on how both opponents went on to perform at 147 when Floyd and Spence beat them easily.
