agreed. -Kev-, the question is, did YOU watch the fight? someone looking at the scorecards might think it was total domination and therefore an EASY fight, but that was far from the case. some fighters can lose 12 close rounds but still put up a great fight. scorecards dont always tell the tale. campbell put up WAAAAAAAY more of a fight than walters and rigo, thats is for darn sure. walters was getting dominated and outclassed and was due for a ko loss before he quit. he was getting hit flush in that 7th round (or whatever the last round was before the no mas) cant believe you can just say campbell is a weakling after that last performance. if campbell is a weakling then God help 99% of other pro-boxers. :lol1: You do realize that daggum is being sarcastic, right?

i just watched it again actually. hate to say it but campbell was robbed vs loma. Luke Campbell should be 23-0. He was also robbed in the Olympics. He should’ve gotten the Platinum Medal. “Gold” medal is an insult to a fighter of his caliber.

According to BoxRec, Loma hasn't really faced anyone above 500 points (mid tier), with the exception of Linares who was already damaged and was getting by decisions. But even Linares manage to drop Loma. He needs to face someone high tier like Berchelt or Mikey. Otherwise I could definitely call him diva with his resume

I did not have boxingscene glasses on. I should rewatch the fight in slow motion, 8k blu ray on Samsung’s 100” “The Wall” tv. I should also watch/score the fight backwards, in rewind, starting from round 12. who in their right mind picked Linares over Loma? That was weird, there were actually people who were high on Linares. I really don’t know why, because he hasn’t beaten a single good boxer in his career (imo). Lomachenko was licking his chops to fight that dude. He def chased that fight and wanted Linares bad, he knew Linares was fragile and it was a high possibility of the fight ending in TKO due to Linares inability of taking too many hard punches. He was carefully brought up by DLH, especially after his first 3 KO losses. DLH realized he had a very fragile fighter in his hands and pretty much built him up with soft touches and the fans ate it all up. The fighters he faced who had a pulse, were not good punchers, they were “safe” fights against euro level fighters (Crolla, Campbell, Mitchell).

Pedraza and Walters are/were better than Linares, Crolla, and Campbell. Campbell lost in a near shutout vs Lomachenko. We might have seen a different fight. Campbell’s amateur accolades don’t automatically translate into him being an All Time Great, Hall of Fame pro boxer. I look at this career as a pro, not what color medal he won. Audley Harrison won gold at the Olympics too, should we rate him highly as a pro as well? I wonder if Campbell can even beat Fortuna? Who I rate as a -B. Yes, Lopez, green Lopez, is already better than Campbell, Linares and Crolla. But that is not saying much because I really don’t think very highly of those 3 at all. So yes, the jury is still out if Lopez is even better than Walters and Pedraza. always knew this fight was gonna be tough to make....it just doesnt make sense for TR from a company standpoint plus you heard loma come right out and say how he figured TR would probably prefer lopez win...plus all the talk of lopez going to 140 very soon ive always been skeptical of this fight actually happening...but who knows I agree, Loma hasn't shown enough slippage yet for TR to be ready for him to "pass the torch" to Teo. That being said, TR probably doesn't want to realize that Loma has slipped after a fight against Tank, Ryan, Devin and co. Make sure you pass the torch to a TR fighter has to be their motto.
