Fights where both boxers were 'ruined' ?

Outside of the ones everybody named, I would say Cotto-Margarito I . Cotto was never the same, and Margarito was cracked as well. The fight was probably one of the most brutal fights I've seen. Even when Margarito was pushing forward, he was eating some heavy stuff. And Cotto was getting consistently cracked with (possibly loaded) punches. Both fighters beat the prime out of each other that night

Brian Sutherland/Kenny Rainford. Brian got knocked out and never fought again and Rainford only fought 2 more times after that and then retired and blew the rest of his career earnings on off brand oxycontin. fuck :rofl: i missed your posts man

Yeah Molina beating Ruslan was a big shock, but wasnt Lucas's eye a result from the Garcia fight tho? i always assumed it was the same eye.. it was a different eye vs postol i think. lucas complained about a head-butt a round or two before the KO. lucas career ending was weird. he proved to be a warrior vs garcia, molina jr and provo yet he quit vs postol who imo a prime lucas (or a semi decent lucas) should've beaten to a pulp. and then again vs manny showing up like crap.

I don't think you guys know what the word "ruined" means. You guys are naming guys who continued to win titles and huge fights afterwards. Now, the Gatti/Ward trilogy left both of them with horrific damage. Castillo/Corrales is another one where I think both guys weren't the same afterwards

It was whilst in Nigeria that he had two or three fights, collapse after one of the fights in the shower and passed away from there. He definitely had a couple of fights from my research. Even sad was Roberto's own demons and him getting shot later on. I believe he got arrested with long time featherweight contender Jose caba.

That was a fight I thought Akeem won but I only saw it once way back in the day.I knew Akeem from the gym when he was a teenager and still in high school.
