I think it's fury. Yes, foreman did great coming back after so many years out. But he did work his way up slowly and when he become champ again he wasn't the best in the world it was a shock he beat moorer.
Not any stories like fury abusing themselves so much and gaining that much weight and getting it off so quickly and going straight for the top almost instantly.
And reaching the summit of ability, ability wise..Would be favourite h2h against just about any heavyweight in history, this comeback version of fury.
It's not just about becoming champ again.
I don't think it beats what SRL did.
But it's still incredible where he came from physically.
It does make me wonder though... is it because Fury is really that good?
Or
Is it a sign of how weak the division is that a guy can disappear for a couple of years, balloon up in weight, abuse the chit out of his body with drink and drugs, and then waltz back in and restore himself to the top.
It might be a bit of both.
It has less to do with the division and more to do with the following:
His God given gifts and his skill.
The ability of the human body and mind to repair itself.
People really expose themselves as non athletes when they say stuff like "how can he go on a coke and food binge and and come back". There is nothing significant about this except for the willpower it takes. The human body is nothing short of a miracle in itself, to assume that because you get fat and go on a binge, that you can't be fit and compete changing your behavior, really sell human capabilities short. Irresponsibly so.
I would love to know how you think he won a "PAPER TITLE" He beat Moore who beat Holyfield who beat Bowe who beat holyfield after he beat Douglass who beat Tyson..so how is that a "PAPER TITLE"
Because Bowe ducked Lewis.
He won the wba , ibf and lineal status hoe in the hell is that a paper title ?? Moorer won it from holy who won it back from bowe and holy won it from Douglass who beat tyson ......paper title ?? Okay then....are u confusing foreman with shannon briggs who "beat" foreman for the lineal status only? Lmao
lmfao you're right! It was unified! I forgot he got the IBF to and dropped it after the Schultz fight.
lmfao paper title. 2/3 and lineal
He won a paper title, not ruled the division.

Fuck no! He should have at least two losses on his record by now. Both the Wilder and the Wallin fight. Wilder knocked him out and Wallin should have stopped him on cuts.
was not 10 seconds
and the cut was bad, but its the ref and doctor's call.....
so nope your wrong
It can't be both, if fury is just average like the rest of them then the gulf should still be there, he is clearly much better than wilder. He's the man that beat wlad remember that not just any old scrub.he is a special talent and it's surprising that ppl who claim to be knowledgeable about the sport h avent realised this until now. It was evident from chisora 2/hammer even the Cunningham fight showed powers of recovery and dog that others don't have. Them powers of recovery are the GOAT that's undeniable. See a man get up in the 12th from that sledgehammer and be on steady legs, unheard of. God's work
I've done you the courtesy of reading this through a few times and I still can't find a single argument that relates to my post that you quoted.
Seems to just say "I like Fury. I liked him before everyone else".
Guess who else has been watching him with interest? That's right, pretty much every non-American boxing fan.
Now what's your point? Is he an all time great talent who is just so far above anyone that he can achieve this incredible comeback?
Or is the division so weak that a very good fighter can abuse his body and still come back better than the rest?
And, yes, it can be a bit of both. Unless you think ballooning up and filling yourself with drink and drugs doesn't affect sporting performance at all.
