My opinion is that Kownacki is pretty easy to hit but on the other hand Wilder can't fight going backwards and Kownacki is an in your face pressure fighter/volume puncher. It would be a good fight.
How can Wilder KO Kownacki ? With what ? This overrated right hand that he KOs grandpas and bums with ? Fury revenge showed to me that a) his right hand is very overrated, b)Wilder is a chicken who is afraid of pressing at him and, what is even more important, c) his chin is much weaker than suspected. Adam would put him in a corner and maul quicker than Fury did.
Hes a big soft target who is there to be hit. Most of the heavies in the pbc stable are, tbh. Joyce/Dubois are probably thee best of that bunch but arent they copromoted in conjunction with somebody else, or am I wrong?
Have yet to see Kownacki fight a live body.
Agreed - I'd like to see him fight someone who can move even a little (I know it's HW, and they're not known for being light on their feet, but still).
Stylistically, I enjoy watching him, and his approach can potentially throw off some fighter's gameplan. I think Kownacki as contender will make for some interesting fights, regardless of who wins.
