Or do you believe there is no such thing? If a fighter can drain himself down 30+ pounds to make weight, it's not always an advantage if they aren't in peek condition. For some it is an advantage if they can blow up on fight night another two or three weight classes against a naturally smaller opponent.
I would have to put Spence and Crawford at the top of the list. They each walk around at about 175 - 180+ and drain themselves to get to 147. Crawford was draining heavily at 135.
Prior to his move to 147, Mikey walked around at 165+, was as high as 170 when he trained for Lipinets.
Weight bully may also be considered for fighters who bring smaller fighters up in weight, and then blowing up on fight night, often refusing to be weighed on the day of the fight. Canelo? Or fighters who can't/won't make weight...Tank?
Floyd also made him wear pillow gloves, cause if not, Floyd woulda been rag dolled!
The gloves Maidana wore where picked out by Maidana himself, at the end of the day they were still 8oz gloves...You know what I don’t even know I’m responding cause you’re delusional
Your talking about an exhibition match that had no effect on either of their records..
but you don’t have anything to say when Floyd was 147 and Maidana weighed around 170
Something is wrong with you

So long as a fighter makes the official, contracted weight, that's all that matters. Some fighters have mastered the weight management and others haven't, it's not the fault of the fighter who prepped better.
Your talking about an exhibition match that had no effect on either of their records..
Exhibition? The minute the Japanese kickeboxer, tagged Floyd one good time, Floyd was ready to knock him out.
but you don’t have anything to say when Floyd was 147 and Maidana weighed around 170
Yes I did. Madonna was a slow, flat footed, come forward guy with no reach that Floyd exploited for 2 paychecks
Tale of the tape...
Floyd - 147
Japanese kickboxer - 127

You’re right, that kick-boxer was huge. I wasn’t wearing my glasses. Thanks for showing me the way.
Lol your an idiot...complaining about a exhibition match like it has some effect on his career....your a troll
I don't believe there is a such a thing. If you make the weight then that is the class you fight in. Period.
Weight bullies is a term IMO NSB posters use when they are upset that a guy they don't like is able to campaign at a weight class and dominate. It's actually embarrassing that a site that is aimed toward diehard boxing fans actually takes issues with fighters that make weight.
Pretty much..... Why Spence was getting so.much hate, don't be mad if he can't make the weight but say nothing about Porter and Brook cuz it doesn't fit your agenda.
I’m glad you think so. Someone who would say that certainly would be.
You literally accused Floyd of being a weight bully....you know jack **** about boxing
canalo at "caneloweight" was ridiculous. A catchweight 1 lb over an existing division and he looked like a slightly stocky supermiddle.
current is harder to say.
Pacquiao was a big weight bully in the lower weight classes...
This is silly. Dude naturally outgrown each of the division he’s passed except for welterweight.
He was a small 130lber before he became a big 130lber.
he’s the smaller guy for more than half of his career.
As long as you make weight for weight class you are fighting im fine with that. Those are the rules.
Floyd not making the limit for his 144 fight against marquez and others similar to that and the fight still gone on. Then that’s weight bullying

As long as you make the limit at the weigh in of whichever weightclass you’re fighting i have no problem with that. Those are the rules so why hate the fighter?
I can hate floyd for not making weight for his marquez fight at 144 catchweight. That’s weight bullying..
Mayweather fighting that last guy wasn’t weight bullying. That was the p4p best man throwing down. Can’t be beat. Can’t be stopped. GOAT.
You legit might be re-tar-ded
My pick is Luis Nery.
On more than one occasion he's come in over the contracted weight limit and refused to try and cut it.
Instead his people pay the opponent a fee and get a pass.
It was dirty AF what he did to Yamanaka.
**** you beat me to it.
I don't know how anyone could watch the career of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr at middleweight and deny the existence of weight bullies in boxing.
He was also using illegal duretics to make weight. Goes against the argument that he could make weight lol
JCCjr also changed the weight limit for Brian Vera like 5 times to suit his lazy self and did the same thing against Danny Jacobs though.

Started his career as junior middleweight. Has just as many fights if not more at junior middle than he does at welter. If you don't believe me go to boxrec and see for yourself.
Got to keep my weight in control for now on ain’t nothing cool about blowing up 25+ pounds an having to spend camp losing that **** ⚠️— Errol Spence (@ErrolSpenceJr) September 29, 2019
Here is him blaming his Porter performance on weight loss/weight drain.
I think Spence might be done at the weight after his accident. I said 2 years ago he'd start struggling when he started pushing 30 and he is not fighting reguary and maintaining a decent weight nowadays by the looks o things.
Brook 2.0
