DAZN has quite a few great talents, I think Madrimov is going to be the real deal, and Martinez is a lot of fun too. Devin Haney, Ryan Garcia, etc. etc.
Why the **** don't they promote these guys? Having them isn't enough, they should be BUILDING these stars.
and lets have an actual discussion and not just call me a hater.
You overrate promoters too much as if they can do miracles of turning nobodies into stars.
Fighters mainly promote themselves. Promoters can only do so much. Some fighters have natural charisma. Some become stars by the way they fight and the types of fights they're taking.
What exactly do you want them to do?
The casual boxing fans who know DAZN exists...they know Canelo is there, Joshua is there.....oh and they did have a commercial they put on cable with Michael Buffer.
I do like the idea that was posted above about a youtube boxing show that isn't just on DAZN. Show people what they're missing by not having a subscription.

They do promote them. They post a bunch of their highlights on their youtube/ social media pages. I don't know what else you expect.
I follow DAZN on social media, and I rarely see any of their young up and comers being promoted unless they're fighting that week. But that's a good point, the other promotions can run commercials on television, DAZN can really only promote on DAZN...which is fine if you already have it.
I agree and put it on YouTube for free for more exposure and to draw potential new audience in
Yes good point...I am way more likely to check it out on Youtube myself vs going into the DAZN app

I totally agree and find it’s a waste of talent
Unfortunately I don’t go on their web pages and pods , that is on me , not having enough time to go and view all this chit that is out there , so in reality I can’t blame anyone but myself
Was just easier when everything was on tv imo
But I get what your saying and also now the fact it’s been two years since I stopped receiving the ring magazine it’s been even harder
Yeah that would be a good idea...something like that, which can reach a little more mainstream audience, and regularly.

One thing that DAZN could do is have a weekly boxing show. A round table where they discuss boxing news and promote their own fighters. A little podcast isn’t enough.

And they put Parker in a tuneup on the main card instead of Madrimov. And they'll never mention him again until his next fight is announced.
Promote them! interview them! get them in the public eye! You have to do more than just have a fighter and talk him up during his fights.
They had Garcia giving commentary on the KSI-Paul fight...also maybe on the other Paul fight too? And then had Devin Haney there during the interview with KSI and Paul before the other brother's fight as well.
I don't disagree with you that they could probably do more to promote their rising stars...just was curious as to what ways in particular you had in mind...and no disrespect as I like you Rex...but I believe you were sh.itting on DAZN for showing the Youtube fights...but doing stuff like that, and having Haney and Garcia around when those fights are happening/being talked about, is a great way to promote those guys.
I think Garcia and Haney have gotten some good buzz over the last year.
I had never heard of Martinez so I think you have a point there...but Madrimov got some good shine on the undercard of a GGG fight...and he has only fought 5 times as a pro so I don't know what all they can do to really hype him up at this point.
For most guys they need to promote themselves...through saying entertaining things etc or through performing exciting/well in the ring.

Yeah, Hearn should use his magical promoting powers to get Madrimov on a game show like Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune. That would really make him a superstar.
They promote the guy while the fight is on and think that’s enough. I didn’t even know Madrimov was on this card.

What else do you think they should be doing?
