Didn't vacate, they made him franchise champion, like Canelo.
what why?.....
Loma had a mandatory against Devin Haney pending. So the wbc made Lomachencko the franchise champion. In return he had to relinquish the wbc title. Devin Haney was elevated to full champion. Then Haney had surgery and he vacated the belt so that Campbell and Fortuna can fight for it.
Haney can fight for it whenever he comes back from surgery. And lomachencko can also fight fo it whenever he decides. but the 135 wbc belt is vacant and Campbell vs Fortuna are fighting for it this spring
I won a boat load of cash picking Fury by KO. Was one of the guys leading the charge on the forum, saying he was coming right at Wilder. Am I involved in boxing though? Not really.
Nice. What odds did u get? Did u just know it in ur gut? I’m not an mma guy at all, but I knew Nunes would destroy Cyborg. Nunes a much better boxer/combos and afraid of nobody. Also Cyborg weighed in a full pound under which I assumed meant she was very consumed/concerned with missing the weight, so she even overcompensated. Wilder should have to forfeit sum of his purse for wearing that outfit if he says its the fault. That means his reckless and ignorance made him less than he could have been. He got paid multi millions and his boner ripped all the fans off. I hope some explains that to him.
Loma has no chance at all. Since I'm real generous I'll let you have -300 on Teo against my +300 on Loma FTW. $100. What you reckon? :lol1:
I see some trickery happening here
Koba real smooth and slippery just like Fury vs Wilder lol
K , you trying pull some Jedi maneuver trick
Of course he has a chance, I just don’t think Lomachenko is done yet. For me Lopez has proved he isn’t green anymore with his victory over the seasoned Comney but am expecting a fine victory for Lomachenko in this one.
I think Loma will make a statement with this fight
Maybe even get off the canvas to make one
But I don’t agree that Lopez ain’t green cause that fight with Commey was just to quick , never really put any work in there
Personally , I think Loma is far from done
i just want the fans of either guy to give the winner credit. Lomachenko wins it will be , "lopez wasn't ready". Lopez wins it will be "Lomachenko is past his prime, he got old, he had injuries".. There will be bull**** from both sides. I guarantee it
I would go with the bold (Loma is a vet), and also say he hadn't lived up to the expectations of his reasonable, diehard fans, because of selective weak competition.
When is the fight going to be announced?
I know Loma had the injury and all, but why is he so inactive for so long? He could've fought at least one fight.
I think Arum is finding this fight hard to make, without ESPN intervention. The fighters must be demanding their real market value: 5 mil each or more. TR isn't paying that kinda money without help. Fight isn't PPV worthy, either. That must be the hold up.
The thread question is too premature. This fight is fifty-fifty for me.

Lopez was the only person involved in boxing, outside of the Fury camp, who picked Tyson by knockout. He broke it down in a video over the course of five minutes or so. The guy is more cerebral than anyone seems to realize.
I know a lot picked Fury to win without saying KO. My brothers friend was in Vegas and bumped into Max Kellerman at a pharmacy. He asked who to bet on. Kellerman said Wilder. He called my brother who said Kellerman is a chump, bet on Fury by KO. He did.
Loma has a great shot; he’s the better boxer after all. Lopez of course has the punchers’ chance.
It’s essentially Fury v. Wilder, lightweight version.
That's a pretty vast oversimplification I think. Teo is more than just a puncher and Wilder sure ain't much of a boxer technically.
I'm not sure what has to happen to any boxing fan to state no boxer has any chance at all in any fight. However to state one of the most impressive and unique boxers in the last 20 years has no chance against a relativity untested up and comer, is one of the most ridiculous things i've read here in a while.
Lopez might have too much power?

I think Lopez has a chance but I think Loma likely wins this. I can see Loma maybe getting knocked down once in the middle or late in the fight but I don’t think he’ll lose. Lopez is a legit opponent though so no one can say anything even if Loma happens to shut him out.
