just taking Wilder's title run (not including Fury), only 2 ranked top 10 guys....why the hell wasn't he fighting more top 10 guys via mandatories?
this is awful
What I actually respect the most about Wilder is how much he's achieved based on natural punching talent, stubbornness, killer instinct and athleticism whilst having such a terrible, utterly ****e head coach through all these years.
- -Wildy Athleticism = Barney
Wladimir lost all of his titles the same year Wilder won his title.
Before Wilder even won his title, Wladimir had already agreed to fight Bryant Jennings on HBO.
With Wladimir unavailable anyway, Wilder's team said that Wilder would make two quick defenses before setting their sights on Wladimir.
Wladimir and Wilder had the same manager and his plan was for them to unify in 2016 after Wladimir's HBO contract had expired. Before the Fury fight, their manager had Wilder do a lengthy interview hyping a 2016 fight with Klitschko, promising the fight would happen once Klitschko was available.
The only reason the fight didn't happen is because Klitschko lost to Fury.
When Fury and AJ fought Wlad they had 24 and 18 fights respectively, and are 3-4 years younger than Beyonce, who had 38 fights around that time. He ducked Wlad for YEARS.
Wlad wanted the WBC belt the moment his brother retired, but they made a paper champ instead and let Beyonce hold it hostage for years until Fury whooped his sorry @ss. There's no reason both Fury and AJ who were younger and with much less fights/experience should've fought Wlad and not Beyonce. That's straight ducking and everyone and their dog knows this yet you think you can lie and convince people otherwise. Pathetic.
Your tears are delicious. Are you still whinging about the imaginary punch to the back of the head, you lying mong?

ESPN.com scored it 114-112 for Wilder
Rafael was ESPN's official scorer, not Kim.
Wrong. Kim was an espn scorer whether you like it or not. Rafael is one of the dumbest people in boxing, no one takes that fat phvck seriously, so feel free to associate yourself with him cause it suits you.
What I actually respect the most about Wilder is how much he's achieved based on natural punching talent, stubbornness, killer instinct and athleticism whilst having such a terrible, utterly ****e head coach through all these years.
Styles make fights.
In any case, Wilder lost two fights to Fury. He changed NOTHING about his skills or his strategy.
AJ lost to a completely different fighter than the one he trained for. He got ****y and got caught. He learned from it and boxed Ruiz's ass off. This is Boxing of course and not fighting.
And Fury... now he is the best in the world? Wilder fan boys were saying Fury is a bum who almost lost to Otto freaking who? Wallin.
Fury rises up to the occasion and can look really good, or really ****ty.
AJ is a far more complete fighter.
Looking ahead... You now have AJ who can both brawl if he has to and he can box beautifully if he wants to.
Wilder? What exactly did he change? Nothing... and now the script on how to beat him is there for everyone to see... pressure wilder and he will collapse... a Grandpa Ortiz showed it and then Fury proved it.
Unfortunately I think Wilder is too stupid to learn to box and will keep on relying on his power.
Fans will argue forever over this guy or that guy being better.
What Boxrec brings to the table is eliminating all bias. Let's just look at who beat who. It's not a perfect system, but it's far closer to perfect than biased fans arguing with each other.
I don't like to speak on "all time" kinds of things because I'm not an expert on stuff before the 80s.
But in my lifetime, Floyd is definitely #1 pound for pound. Beat so many top fighters without ever losing. He's gotta go in that #1 spot. He has a lot of haters, but Boxrec cuts through all of that.
Floyd does NOT beat Duran that beat Leonard.
I would give a kidney to see prime Floyd and prime SRL
I think Floyd could beat Hagler who fought too much for liking...when he shouldve been BOXING and using that 1-2. Need a lot more than a 1-2 to beat Floyd though
Hagler was too big for Floyd
Why didn't Wilder fight Wlad sooner when Wlad was calling for unification?

Espn didn't have it for him you lying mong. Why do you ignore the another ESPN analyst had it for Fury?

Not true. 2x Fury, 2x Stiverne, 2x Ortiz, Breazeale. All in the top 20.
Look at the levels you have drop to in order to defend this bum. Losing twice to Fury, getting schooled twice by a geriatric Cuban with no resume, and fellow bums Stiverne/Brezeale. That says everything we need to know about Beyonce's resume.
He has three wins over top 5 heavyweights. Stiverne once and Ortiz twice. What other top heavyweight right now has three top 5 wins? Is it possible you judge Wilder with a harsher criteria than you judge others?
Wilder didn't get his mandatory shot until 2015. Vitali's last fight was in 2012.
Wilder and Wladimir were scheduled to fight in 2016, but the fight was ruined when Wladimir unexpectedly lost to Fury.
Why didn't Wilder fight Wlad sooner when Wlad was calling for unification? You just keep making excuses for that pathetic cherry-picking bum who's been exposed for the fraud he is. Why was Fury able to land him when Wlad was looking win his brother's belt for YEARS, when Beyonce was hold it hostage fighting bums like himself? And Stiverne is another bum who was only rated once and without any consensus. Funny how you couldn't name 5 top fighters he's faced ;-)
The Associated Press, ESPN, the LA Times, the Washington Post, Sporting News, etc have far more credibility than random idiots on the internet.
Espn didn't have it for him you lying mong. Why do you ignore the another ESPN analyst had it for Fury? Why do you magnify the minority and ignore the majority? Are Lewis, Mayweather, Ward and RJJ idiots too?
You're such a pathetic lying little fool LOL.
Wilder is on track to make over $100 million in a 14 month period and sell 2 million PPVs in an 8 month period. Wilder is tied with Muhammad Ali for the second most successful WBC World Heavyweight Championship reign in history. Wilder has been one of the most dominant topics in the history of this site.
You really think Bute and Ottke are fair comparisons for what Wilder has achieved?
Sven Ottke has 10 thousand instagram followers. 30 thousand for Bute.
Wilder is at almost 3 million now.
Yes I think their resumes and championship reigns are extremely comparable, despite Wilder having more Instagram followers.
Fans will argue forever over this guy or that guy being better.

Floyd is #1 P4P since the 90s, but it's hard to say hes better than SRL or Duran.
Durans style wouldve been a nightmare for Floyd who had his hands full against JLC and Maidana.
Nobody is better than SRR. Period.
Manny out shines Floyd in every part of boxing except two. Being undefeated and making the most money. Other than that...ALL time P4P...that dont get it.
Boxing is subjective and I respect your opinion. You're obviously a big fan of Manny.
I don't care who made the most money.
But Floyd winning 50 out of 50 fights and Manny only winning 62 out of 71 is relevant when discussing who should be rated higher, pound for pound.
The fact that they actually fought each other, and Floyd won a very clear unanimous decision, is relevant.
The Boxrec computers have determined, by a wide margin, that Floyd is pound for pound the all time #1. Manny is a distant #2. We're lucky that our generation got to experience the two greatest fighters of all time pound for pound. If you rate Manny ahead of Floyd though, no problem.
Boxrec also rated Floyd GOAT. Floyd is Top 10-15 ever, but not GOAT.
That's Ali, SRR, or Duran.
Fans will argue forever over this guy or that guy being better.
