So what does Wilder do to be more competitive against Fury?
My guess, he comes in light. Not so he can score points, but so he can run and stop Fury cutting him off. Hoping he can land something big from the outside.
I don't think it will work, but I think it's his best chance.
This is the most pointless fight there has ever been. He has been figured out.
Boxing is about adjustments.
Wilder's going to do something. I mean something other than wear a lighter costume and have all people with a link to team Fury banned from sitting behind his trainers.
I suspect Fury will have the answer to any adjustment Wilder makes, because he's simply a much better boxer in too many areas.
The consensus seems to be that he goes back to his lighter weight. Gets on his bike and outruns Fury in the hope of landing one big shot.
Which kind of flags just how dumb they were coming in heavy at the weekend. Who thought that was a good idea? So sacking the camp seems another obvious change.
He just needs to get better at countering the Jab. Keep Fury honest with that and just wait for the right hand to come.
Fury will just play the waiting game on that third fight. Wilder will land that right hand he just doesnt need to rush it.
A few "dirty tricks" will also help with Fury step on his foot, rub your gloves on his face, semi-low blows. You need to take him out of his confort zone.
This rematch was the most important fight of both boxer's careers. They knew each other for 12 rounds and they had so much time to study film and of the first fight and be in perfect shape and have a battle plan, This was the big showdown and they were supposed to be at their best. Fury won so easily. I think Fury was not 100% in the first fight. He was not fully back from years out of the ring and self abuse to his body. I think he was 100% for this fight with a new battle plan of going right after Wilder. I think Fury is just too good for Wilder and will beat him again just as easily. I can't think of a plan for Wilder to win except for the obvious plan of trying to land flush with a perfect right hand. Wilder always has a big puncher's chance to win but again Fury who is so good defensively it's a small chance. Now we know Fury has no problem hitting and hurting Wilder so another Fury KO win is coming.
He can't take it to the body either.
Good point. Next time, instead of looking like a demon, he should come to the ring looking like Cam Newton, rib protectors and everything
Wear a lighter costume
Make sure he urinates before the fight
Tamper with Fury's scales
Use Gypsy magic
Don't break his arm
Don't break his hand
Make sure it's not raining on fight day
Don't get tired in the locker room
Don't be scared of his own punching power
Use a different hair cut
Use baby oil
You know, all the stuff Fury did to him and he'll be fine. No need to adjust anything as he's just a perfect fighter and the more talented of the two and Fury can't hurt him since he hits softer than his 2-year old baby and he's a gutless coward etc;
A few tips:
- join WWE and practice some of Fury's wrestling tactics of mishandling (or getting out of it). Being short has its own advantages (ahem..." accidental" headbutts while rising)
- practice one or two other shots other than the right hand, like uppercut or short hook for when Fury is close enough
- practice defensive movements and tactical escapes (Ali or Haye style)
- come shirtless like Iron Mike (with silly costumes)
- give yourself some rest (you ain't 24 no more to come out of one fight and straight into another camp)
- settle your weight around 225lbs
- stop being a "warrior" and become a special forces guy (they sneak in, attack and make a quick escape)
It looks pretty certain he'll take the rematch.

Deontay knows exactly what he needs to do to beat Fury next time .. wear a lighter costume for his ring walk.
BOMBSQUAAAAD!!!
Wilder doesn't have a good foundation. He doesn't have boxing skills and likes to wait around. It is not like he is very active in a fight.
The only way that I see it if he makes a Hagler/Hearns type of fight and chance it with trying to land something.
He got out boxed by Fury and now he got bullied. So in other words if he sits back either he gets outboxed or he will be pressured out of his comfort zone. I don't see any other way than go for it.
Train train, run, skip, build those stick legs and that will go a long way in improving his ring generalship and boxing. He can’t fight Fury, doesn’t have the stamina or the inside game, needs to gain respect and keep Tyson outside, measure him for the rights and tie up or get out. Legs.
Don't think he can but he should really stop walking backwards while a taller man with more reach is coming at him. He needs to keep his gloves on his temples.
Also why is NO ONE talking about the hits D.Wilder took on the back on his head that got him all fvked up in the 1st place?
Back of the head? That shot was on the ear, thats why his ear was ****ed up right after the shot. Unless Wilder’s ears are on the back of his head.
The shot landed flush on the side of the head, then the glove slipped round the back because of how Wilder ducks shots.
He can’t.
He’s too mentally fragile to beat Fury, never mind technically not good enough.
Like i’ve always said, when skill levels are so far apart, then a punchers chance doesn’t exist. Real top level fighters don’t lose to guys with a punchers chance and nothing else. Yeah he dropped Fury before but this isn’t the half fit Fury coming of a drug binge anymore and dropping 140lbs. That’s what needs to be remembered.
Once the rematch happens and Fury starts catching him in round 1 again, the reality is going to set in for Wilder and he will get beaten more easily this time.
Though it may be beyond Wilder’s ability but I think he needs to go Manny Paquiao on Fury. Go in and get out, hit with a 1-2 and then step out of range. One thing for sure is, he cannot let Fury push and grab and then club him like a baby seal.
The good news is, is that Wilder, despite how helpless he look Saturday, still has one punch fight ending power in his right hand. The bad news is, he can’t deliver it if Fury has his paws on him.
Again, the key for Wilder is to defend the left jab of Tyson Fury. Watch the first round again. Wilder was well on his way to winning the round and probably knocking Tyson Fury out in the early rounds until Tyson landed that hard left jab in the last minute of the round. He did it one more time and Wilder had no answer for it, other than eat it and keep boxing. His corner gave him no advice or warnings about that shot. It went undefended the rest of the fight. That is how Fury controlled the fight and did most of his damage.
If wilder had prepared for that jab and either slipped it or blocked it 2 out of 3 times, then the fight would have been far different and probably an early knockout for Wilder.
I am not sure he can defend it, but that is what he must work on.
whatever drugs you are on you can make a fortune selling them

wilders best chance is to bring a grenade launcher into the ring. yes wilder lookes like a fat slob in there hahahah how the fu#k could a few lbs on a skinny bird leg 6'7" frame make a difference. how come the added weight on Fury did not make a difference?
The first thing he needs to do is fire his team (except Breland). He has too many yes men on his team, secondly he needs to get more NO-men in his camp, he doesn't need any YES-men because they are trruly making him more delusional by the minute. Then work on a gameplan, which includes the jab, and light enough to move around Fury.
He can't. The only thing he can do is go out swinging and hope for the best. The longer the fight goes the worse it is for him.
HEY Robbie, haven't seen you much lately....lol....your boy Aj still won't fight Fury or D.Wilder :lol1: eddie does nothing but clout chasing.
