The only reason AJ ever touched a belt is because Fury walked away from them. You can find posts of me timestamped during his hiatus, reminding everyone here that AJ is only babysitting those belts, he is no rightful champion. He can't get the respect like he won them legitimately.

joshua was under 30 when wilder ducked him to fight ortiz's corpse in a rematch and wilder admitted to cherry picking a fat coked up fury. he tried to take the easier road(according to popular opinion which yes could be wrong) but that was his mindset Ortiz is a better win than AJ to me then, and now. So you are trying so say there was nobody Wilder could of fought that was in his 20's.. yet he was protected and matched carefully? don't those two things contradict each other? The fact is Wilder only fought Ortiz because he was old as ****, and on blood pressure medication. Wilder was matched agaisnt guys who posed little to no threat and were over the hill & many of them still caused him massive problems. I hardly see how my point is moot. i think its a valid point that Wilder never faught a single guy in his prime, the one time he did he got battered, embarrassed and made to look like a complete and utter amateur. Its not so much About Wallin its about the mirage of Wilder to me. I know you wanna big him up because hes Furys signature win but for me....put him in with anyone with a pulse & decent skills and he likely loses. They don't contradict each other to me, because I'm the not one who thinks a fighter is harder to beat, or "better", because they are in their 20s. Wallin is no great shakes but hes a young fresh talented southpaw with a good chin, Wilder has never beaten any young talented boxers....ever, so on that point i would give Wallin a fair shot of winning. Only Fury has survived it and his style is all wrong for Wilder and he’s the only heavyweight with that size and style in the history of boxing!

(probobly alot older) Breazale 33 Liakhovich 37 Audley 41 most of those guys are C level but not only that they are C level and have been KO'd a bunch of times & are at the end of their careers when they are matched with Wilder. The best weapon against a lefty is a straight right and Wilder has a legit one. I would not favor Wallin in this fight.

Wallin ate bombs from Granat who punches extremely hard, not comparable to Wilder but its safe to say Wallin has a very good chin. If he doesnt get merked early i see him outboxing wilder to a UD.

Wallin is a durable guy, good chin and he can box/fight well. Just because wilder has a KO right hand doesn't mean he can go up and hurt him. Wilder doesn't like fighting backwards. If wallin pressures him all the way, Wallin could shock us and beat him. Styles make fights. We can't keep seeing a boxer's KO and win record and say for sure that boxer will win. We should look past the well known names and see how the styles match up. Triangle theories don't work here. Dilian whyte is also a tough fight for wilder due to whyte's style.
