Im reading a lot of "wilder was exposed" comments. What exactly was exposed in the fight?
What did you see or learn new about Wilder that wasn't already established?
Just curious.
Because if you think wilder got "exposed" you need your boxing card REVOKED.
Yes any fan who watches all important fights must have seen Wilder fight at least 20 times so they should know his strengths and weaknesses by now. That doesn't make them stupid for picking Wilder to win. The pro odds makers aren't stupid and i think the odds were close to even. Wilder is badly lacking in boxing skills but he has a fast deadly straight right that has KOed almost everyone so his fights are hard to predict.
I think we all knew he was a one trick pony, it's just the one trick he had isn't an easy one to get around.
Even if he was "exposed" last night, I don't expect many others being able to beat him.
I think Wilder was exposed.
We all knew where he was weak, chin, defense, fighting off the back foot but no one had taken advantage of it until now.
That's the difference.
Can be exposed unless someone takes advantage.
I suppose we technically didn’t learn anything new...but we did learn just how totally inept wilder was at dealing with someone pushing him back, which we’d never seen before.
I think the point is that many on here, in particular black posters, made Wilder out to be one of the GOATs at heavyweight and kept saying he couldnt be exposed because he has a better resume than AJ. Weird thing is, now everyone is saying "well he was rubbish anyway and just stepped up in comp".
The funniest part if BT sports promotion broke apart the moment the fight ended. Refer to my thread.
FACTS
Fans that actually know boxing knew that this was bound to happen. Wilder's pure lack of fundamentals, defense, and offensive variety showed people that actually knew what they were watching that he has no real aura of invincibility
He was exposed to a large group of his casual fans, fans that thought he couldn't lose because he was the hardest hitter the sport of boxing had ever seen and fans that thought he didn't need classic boxing fundamentals because he was athletic and had a unique style that worked for him.
Any sensible boxing fan knew this day would come for Wilder if he stepped up his competition.
Good thread! Every boxing fan knew that Wilder was an overachieving and a very limited fundamentally sound boxer with lots of power and tons of championship heart.

About half the forum were saying he was number 1 in the division and he just got the dog**** beat out of him...
Boxing had him ranked #1 or #2 in the division. So they were just repeating facts.
Good post. It should have been clear to everyone that Wilder only had a puncher's chance. Especially after the schooling in the first fight. People still didn't believe Fury is the deal deal.
Some idiots here will probably pick Wilder in a third fight if it happens
