I think its clear why in 40+ fights and 12 years hes largely stayed away from higher level fighters, especially guys that can punch in addition to having skill. 18-27 Sconiers dropped him, Molina and Washington rocked him, Ortiz had him in deep **** possibly saved by the bell and now Fury (who is not meant to be a puncher) beat his ass half to death. Now you have to wonder how things would have played out if the guy had actually gone after Wlad back in the day, hadnt backed out of the Povetkin fight, had given Whyte a shot, fought AJ etc.
I can`t see that happen. Fury is superior boxer.
He is the better boxer, but he doesnt have that one punch power to KO Joshua and stylistically I can just see Joshua having success
I say Fury staggers and maybe knocks down Joshua with jabs
All of a sudden Fury is a thunderous puncher? Fury's jab is more of a flicking jab, it doesnt usually have much power to it (though in this fight it was a lit more solid) I highly doubt he floors Joshua with a jab.
I can see Joshua beating Fury, he's not 1-dimensional like Wilder
Just finished rewatching the fight. Wilder took a lot of good shots from a very large man. Fury may not be a murderous puncher, but he’d knock out most with that accumulation of punishment. Deontay showed tremendous heart, something we’ve seen evidence of before.
Fuck no! Wilder was eating punches from the best P4P Heavyweight in the world. Where as Joshua ate punches from a handpicked, unranked, last minute replacement tomato can fighter with very little time to prepare.
Ah but you guys claimed he was featherfisted before the fight. Wilder was eating punches only because he had no idea how to avoid them. And no, Andy Ruiz was not “unranked” or a tomato can. He was ranked higher than all 40 Wilder’s opponents except fury and Ortiz.
Wipe your mouth. Your double standard drool is showing.
I highly doubt it. Fury would have punched himself out.
I think I could have held a Wilder shot in round 7.
Absolutely gassed and Fury if he missed was just putting 270 pounds right on him.
Round 8 and Wilder would have been boxing under water. Fury had it all his own way. He's never going to require a second wind. He got breaks whenever he wanted.
I just don't see a punch being there for Wilder at all. It wasn't there from round 3 onwards
I happen to disagree because it was a punch that possibly landed behind the head which damaged his equilibrium for the remainder of the fight but yet he still displayed a tremendous amount of championship courage though to fight through it.
100% percent correct. Wilder seemed to be bleeding from the ear itself. That is a possible sign of an eardrum issue which can cause balance issues. Wilder has a more than decent chin. The first Ortiz fight proves it. There is a myth about Fury's power. When he sits down on his punches there is plenty of power. In the Klitschko fight he boxed smartly and cruised to a boring decision victory. The ending of the Schwarz fight shows his power!
Brittle, hasn't been in there with a real puncher but has been hurt and wobbled more than once.
People mock Joshua for having a bad chin, I dont think Wilders is any better, might even be worse
I say Fury staggers and maybe knocks down Joshua with jabs
My only regret is that Wilder didn't headbutt Tyson Fury in his motherfucking eye or give him a swift kick in the nuts with his dirty, fouling, illegal cheating ass.
man you trying to pull a jewel out of a septic tank. out of 19 rds wilder won 2 during which Fury got up and dominated him. second fight he got savagely beaten maybe ending his career either by exposing him or retirement
Yikes second wind?
I’m pretty sure Wilder was gonna to be hospitalised.
Fury is not a massive banger but the highlight reel was comingI highly doubt it. Fury would have punched himself out.

The first knockdown was illegal. It was a punch that landed behind Wilder's head. The referee did a decent job under the circumstances. However, he did miss that call.
Part of me wished that the fight could have gone on just a bit longer; At least until Wilder could catch his second wind because it looked like Tyson was beginning to tire from all the punches he was throwing.
Yikes second wind?
I’m pretty sure Wilder was gonna to be hospitalised. His legs straight as arrows his chin in the air and with no real estate behind him.
Fury is not a massive banger but the highlight reel was coming
The reason why he would have taken a beating had the fight gone on longer is because Fury can't hit. Wilder's balls are too big for Fury's fists.

it was OK when wilder was using his size to beat up smaller pizza delivery guys. when Fury threw that right wilder ducked looked at the canvas raised his left arm and deflected the punch to the back of his head. watch it hear a guy has that punch in slo mo. you are butt hurt but insane
