Yes he does. Larry Holmes and Lennox Lewis are the two fighters that would have the best chances of beating Tyson Fury.
I would add Vitali. I cannot see Holes beating him though.
I don't think he beats Lennox. Unlike Wilder, Lennox had tremendous skills.
- -Only hvy champ to lose his titles by two 1 punch KOs!
Never defended his unified title!
U drink tremendous skills koolaide!
no because holyfield was an infighter that used his head a lot on the clinches. Wouldn't be able to lay on him. Evander was light on his feet as well until you hit him and then he had to get in a war.
I am made up that Tyson Fury has won 'And HE has slayed a dragon'. But Wilder FINALLY has been exposed, without his power having a effect? He literally has no other game-plan or variation in his style to compete. Lennox Lewis , Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson would all taken Deontay Wilder apart 'And as John Fury was stating before the fight? How hard does Wilder hit really? All of a sudden he became the biggest puncher in boxing history, 2 years ago this as not the mass consensus'.
Not going to disrespect Tyson Fury, he would compete with the guys from the 90's.
It’s only recently become a “mass consensus,” but I personally thought so several years ago when I witnessed my first Wilder fight. His power was quite evident. I remember thinking he might’ve been the hardest punching fighter I’d ever seen — and that was from just one fight. But we all know Deontay has next to no boxing skills, and would probably be destroyed by all the men you just listed. And yes, Fury would compete with anyone from the 90s — or in heavyweight history, for that matter.
