That's how fouls work. A foul that ruins you for the rest of the fight is treated differently from a foul you can quickly recover from.
You're wrong. I've watched the best replay angle in slow motion dozens of times and the punch is very clearly behind the head, not on the ear.

11:42 clearly shows it bounce off his ear. You fools all cry the ear injury affected him but then say the punch hit the back of the head? Which is it?
Stop lying to everyone you pathetic git. Wilder should've never turned his head anyway.
Point deduction was bs, i was worried he was going to dq Fury.
PBC had everything in the bag for Wilder to win, the crooked judges gave Wilder the second round as well. Fury was wise to go for the KO.
- -Bayliss a midget trying to break over 500lbs of bone and muscle ain't easy, but compared to his TUE 51-0 subservience, this one of his better fights.
Shoulda been a quick double deduction, but given Tyson won every minute of every rd with a beating seldom equaled in hvy history, it don't matter.
I like Wilder. He's a hard guy to hate, as far as I'm concerned. He's also a true warrior. He showed great heart in this fight and in the first Ortiz fight. I want to see him fight again and I want to see him be successful, happy and healthy. He's great for our sport!
You might be right about him suffering long term damage but let's just hope he comes back as good or better than he was before.
He's quite easy to hate actually cause he hid with the WBC belt for years when Wlad wanted to unify his brother's belt. He's a paper champ who beat a bum for the title and got whooped in his two fights with his first real opponent.
Even geriatric Ortiz made him look like a talentless amateur blessed with a right hand.
No, it wasn't. Watch it in slomo. Behind the head for sure.
I was rooting for Fury. it was on the ear and followed through to the back as wilder ducked into it.....that’s why he balance was all wrong and that’s why blood was pissing out of it......by your comparison Ruiz also won by a foul against Joshua because that was around the ear too.....one rule for chicken legs and one rule for the others lol.
He got hammered from start to finish facts

A **** quality I should say.
Just for fun, draw me an area on these images that you consider a back of the head. Different people have different meanings.

I figured a Fury win would be more likely to lead to an undisputed fight and the only thing I care about is having an undisputed champion, no matter who it is. I posted publicly in the lead up to the fight that I was rooting for Fury.
Naaaa you a diehard wilder fan.. changing teams quicker than lebron james eh.
First you couldn’t accept it was a clean punch that sent wilder down. Then this.
You making this a lot worse man. Used to really like you until i read a lot of your made up stories. Stfu already
Like i said, whatever makes you sleep at night. Carry on carry on must be hard day
Looool your guy was fury?????!!!

My guy didn't get beat down. I was rooting for Fury.
Wilder ducked and got caught behind the head. Wilder has nobody to blame but himself. It's a clean win for Fury. But the fight was over with that punch. Too good of a shot. Right on the back of the skull. Fight over. There was no need for Wilder to take the beating after that. It was over.
Looool your guy was fury?????!!! Nyahahahahah
Talking like we don’t know you.
Nope it wasn’t at the back of the head. It wasn’t illegal.
But whatever makes you sleep at night man. That’s good to hold on to something.
Tbh, i like them both and wanted each of em to take on aj first.
But guys like you make people dislike wilder than the other way around.
It looked like it was on the ear to me. Was wondering if that was why Wilder was bleeding out of that ear.
Getting smacked on the ear that hard will mess you up pretty badly. His camp haven't said anything about a ruptured eardrum though.
Having a hard time understanding why Fury fans are complaining about the ref. Fury knocked Wilder down with a shot to the back of the skull and Wilder was ****ed up from that point forward. If the ref was in Wilder's pocket, we would have had a DQ or a no contest.
Ohhhhhh noooooo nooooooo....it was on the ear and wilder ducked into it......another excuse mother ****er who cannot accept his boxer is ****ing ****.
Not learnt one bit of skill since a being professional
And has been protected all his career.
Joshua would smash wilder inside 3 rounds and would actually doctor sleep him.
I also said wilder had no skill level and last night that was fully exposed to the world..
you talk sense but fury did hit him in the back of the head. he did it in the first fight and he did it here in the 2nd. clinching way too long, leaning on wilder way too long, punching after the break/bell, punches to the back of the head in the clinch. bad win. didnt like at all. these are facts, the footage shows it
Na a a a. Your guy still got beat down bad. I watch the replay on the link that you provided and gave a different view because you insisted on Me watching it again. Which is true.. just accept it as a clean defeat and beat down.
I haven’t heard even the trainers or wilder, or any of the commentators said it was on the back of the head.
Coz it wasn’t. Near it maybe. But i wasn’t on the back of the head.

You're moving the goal posts now. At first you said he hit him on the ear. Now you're saying he hit him near the ear. Go watch those replays in slomo again. Hit pause as the punch lands and see where the glove is. It's clearly the back of the head.

Not a foul when the punch wasn't aimed at the back of the head.
It's not a scoring blow to punch somebody directly on the back of their head, even if they duck. It's an accidental foul.
It doesn't matter. It's Wilder's fault for having his guard down. This is boxing. No excuses. Fury didn't do anything dirty. Wilder was lazy, had his hands down, panicked and ducked and got clipped on the back of the head. The fight was over right then and there before it ever really got started.
He hit him near the ear/neck area

Nahhh a foul is a foul and you probably happy defending wilder of that KD he got in the first fight as truly legit. I have not even read any fury fan here making excuses for the wilder shot at the back of furys head..
He hit him near the ear/neck area and his fist Slided towards the back of wilder’s head as wilder was already going down.
If it was at back of wilder’s head his ears wouldn’t be bleeding because of it.
go put it on slomo 100 more times. But it’s difficult to convince someone who sees what he sees.
Wilder got beat down man, just accept it.

I like Wilder too. And Fury for that matter. I was rooting for Fury because I thought a Fury win gave us a better chance of an undisputed champion ASAP and an undisputed champion is what I care about the most, no matter who it is.
Wilder showed incredible heart and determination continuing to fight in that condition. Considering he had a rematch clause, the smart thing would have been to just never get up after the shot to the back of the head and just live to fight another day. But he was so determined even though he had nothing left to give. He may never be the same after tonight.
And I want to point out two things. #1 - Fury wasn't aiming for the back of the head, Wilder ducked. #2 - Wilder didn't have his hands up and put himself in a terrible position being so careless after the break.
Oh oh so it’s different because of the impact?
