Why didn't he take the AJ fight for all the marbles when he had the chance?
Still has a chance to make it happen though. After aj vs fury ofcourse. He can get the winner if it’s aj. He can still get the loser if it’s aj. Winner gets a rematch with the gypsy.
It will still be big. Not as big had two of them been undefeated, or atleast one. But still big big. I don’t mind it happening soon as long as aj vs furry goes first.
He was never worth that money anyway he had a lot of people dupedn three realty is he was just never that good his best wins are stiverne and 40 year old Ruiz he avoided anyone else with a pulse and picked fury because her looked obese and finished but he was wrong. Her convinced the Americans that it was everyone else ducking him and that wasn't hard as they are mostly thick.
Dillian Whyte or Joshua would have stopped him so would Ruiz because he can't fight going backwards we'll see him lost ta lot more regularly now that people are he's only a bully fighter
Joshua and Wilder both lost out. 2 undefeated guys with the 2 highest KO percentages in Heavyweight championship history.
Now we've seen both Joshua and Wilder get stopped.
When Miller failed, Wilder still had the Breazeale fight coming up. So you're suggesting Joshua would have canceled his fight, waited for Wilder to fight Breazeale, and then waited another six months to face Wilder? Joshua would have been inactive for 15 months at that point. I just don't see it.
Could see Hearn making him fight a bum instead of Ruiz if the Wilder fight was guaranteed to be next.
This all happened after Wilder had already rejected DAZN's offer which was months before Joshua's Madison Garden fight last year.
I can easily see Hearn doing something like that to make sure AJ went to a potential Wilder fight undefeated.

Is your position that when Miller failed a drug test, Joshua would have canceled his upcoming fight and just waited around for Wilder?

We'll never know now but I doubt the Ruiz fight even happens if Wilder took the deal.

Did you forget that Joshua lost? Wilder would have never gotten the money. It was 40 million to fight Joshua if Joshua won his next fight, but Joshua lost his next fight.

That is one way of looking at it now but he still made a lot of money for this Fury fight with a rematch option to make more
Having Fury as a WILLING Dance Partner really saved him from really looking bad not taking that deal because he was able to make BIG Money for that fight. Stylistically though he would've been better off taking his chances with AJ rather than Fury. Fury is all wrong for Wilder and AJ lets be honest but only time will tell
Wilder won't be struggling for money anytime soon if EVER after this fight though
I think he did OK money wise tonight, the question will be what he does from here. I'm of the opinion that he has to take the trilogy. A 2nd loss probably doesn't do that much damage, but a win puts him right back at the top of the heap and the redemption would probably make him bigger than ever before. If he avoids the 3rd Fury fight, he risks being taken out by a lesser fighter and never returning to the top stage. Just like Joshua had to take the Ruiz fight immediately, Wilder must do the same if he wishes to stay relevant on the national scene
Truly sad.
Would have gone down as probably the biggest fight of last decade had it happened.
Yup both undefeated we could of got a trilogy all gone now.

Will go down as one of the biggest missed opportunities in boxing history, much of the allure regarding Pac and Floyd was one was still a undefeated fighter and 90% were hoping Pac would end the streak.
AJ and Wilder both lost within a year of each other.
Truly sad.
