He's almost 35 right? Doesnt have too many options really, if he doesnt take the 3rd fight then likely Joshua vs Fury happens, so who is he left with then? I wonder if Whyte or the other guys calling out Wilder would even want that fight now that he isn't a champion anymore. He certainly isn't the cash cow in the division. His options seem limited at the moment if you ask me.

As long as Wilder didn’t suffer permanent damage in the last fight, I don’t see why he should turn down a trilogy. A couple of fights against lesser opposition and he’s good to go. We’re talking big money here, the kind you can hand down to your descendants. And speaking of that, let’s not forget Deontay has a sick daughter.

i agree. I just made a thread like this. Didnt see this one at the time . HE may not bounce back from this loss with any fighter at this time. Hesa dramatic dude. As long as his Jaw wasn't broken and if it was just cut in his EAR and not a busted ear drum then yeah comeback later this year for the rematch and go for broke early and try to knock him out and go out on your shield NOTHING to lose at this point! Hes 34 now, not getting younger. AJ would take the Fury fight. Wilder has no belt so AJ aint taking the risk of getting KTFO. If AJ-Fury does 2 fights, that means neither are free until Fall 2021 at the earliest. Wilder will be 36 by then. Or he could just take his chances and cash out in a 3rd match with Fury.

I really don't think wilder should fight Fury again. Fury is retiring soon, he can't afford to waste time on wilder. He beat him twice. People would pay good money to see wilder v ruiz, josh and whyt e and joyce and duboius

Wilder is very limited but still has the ability to beat 95% of other HW because none of them move like Fury. With all the surgeries i question how long Wilder will retain that power with the right because if he loses it he is done at the top level.

the way wilder talked in the ring after the fight saying I wanted to go out on my shield I had a lot of things going on etc makes me think he wants to get savagely beaten again. he sounded exactly like serena Williams when she loses to an 18 year old that weight 60lbs less then her giving her opponent no credit and making excuses
