Should be an announcement next week from what i hear, just waiting for it the Wilder v Fury fight week to be over.
I actually heard Canelo v Saunders was always nailed on to be the fight, which is why Canelo vacated the WBO 175 title so fast, on the basis he would fight for the WBO title at 168. They have just been talking about other opponents to keep people guessing and interested, because announcing the fight so early would’ve made it lose steam.
Not sure how true all this is, could be made up. but just what i heard from a good source, that the fight was as good as done in early January. All the talk of Murata and rejected contracts/low offers were just backup for if some reason it fell through.
Yeah, I think its being kept back out of respect for tonights fight, MTK representing Fury and BJS. Same thing with Joshua/Pulev. Im expecting a lot of DAZN announcements next week being Garcia/Vargas fight week.
Wild card though, Oscar coked off his **** later tonight making the announcement
BJS has the ability to stink up the place. This looks like it is going to be a very boring fight. Cone he gets close and feels Canelo's counter ability he will get on his legs if there are still good and do a performance similar to Lara.
Canelo is not like JCC Sr that used to break down movers.

He dominated Jacobs who he outlanded by a 2/1 ratio in 8 individual rds thats the definition of domination(the irony is You a floyd fanboi, what top level has he ever dominated who wasn't drained),Dominated Lara & Dominated Trout,& Dominated ggg. Stay salty
Dominated Lara, LOL
7-3-2 rounds in favor of lara
113-24 head shots in favor of lara
yearh, dominate!
you mean levi martinez dominated lara 117-111
Canelo needs his army of paid judges with him if this happens
Saunders will turn up at his best and cement feet Canelo can’t stop him and he definitely can’t outbox Saunders
Yeah that's a problem if the rounds are somewhat close. Canelo has a good chin and the judges are going to favor the money guy.
BJ has a better chance than people think he does. This is a good fight.
100%.Its one Iam going to pay for as Iam sure it will be a pay per view. The Joshua/Pulev fight doesn't interest me enough to pay for though.
At 168, hmmm, Billy will be bang up for this! Sad reality is, though, he'll have to win every round to get a close decision on the cards... plus, Canelo is a different class of fighter, in terms of proven ability, whereas we have still yet to see the best of Saunders. Here's hoping it's Billy's night

didn't ggg outland canelo in almost every round? so canelo dominates when he outlands his opponent and when he gets outlanded? credibility? :dunce: your own arguments make no sense and using compubox is pathetic.
Saunders at his best barely beat a Eubank jr who had been fighting construction workers up to.that point. He lost the last 5 rounds basically.
Noted , but we are talking about cashing in a winning lottery ticket this would be a life changing win, I think the motivation should be up a couple notches.Again not enough to win, but enough to make it a good fight.
saunders is garbage above 160. the only reason anyone would ever have him ranked there is because of his name recognition. certainly isn't his resume or great performances! has he fought anyone good above 160...nope. has he looked horrible. yep.
Great negotiating skills by Callum Smith. Loses a career payday with no guarantee he’ll get another offer.
BJS is easy work for Canelo.
Agreed on the bolded , but ***** em.Don't know if it will be easy work though if BJS shows up motivated & ready it could be a good fight, still would pick Canelo to win though.
I hate to say I told you so but I TOLD YOU SO I TOLD YOU SO I FUKING TOLD YOU about 100 times from the time he KOed Kovalev on. You, War Ruiz, McDonald and others saying Canelo had every 160 and 168 champion scared shi less to fight him didn't know what the hell you were talking about. BJS is ripe to be beaten and has not looked good or fought anyone good since he looked good fighting Lemieux over 2 years ago. He has a 168 pound world title which is the weight Canelo will fight at from now on as his middleweight days are over. All the other so called amazing offers Oscar made to others were low offers just for show with no dollar amount so Oscar could claim he tried to get others to fight Canelo and even got angry when others said BJS was the front runner. But here we are with Canelo making BJS the first good offer any champion has received and fighting him in May just like Canelo wanted from the start. Big surprise, NOT!
We all knew BJS was next, you did not invent that idea Boliodogs! WTF is up with you man you have no clue about anything
This boxing site we are on, boxing scene scores fights. They call it boxing scene live score card and score every big fight as it happens. They scored the Canelo vs Jacobs fight a draw. I thought Canelo beat Jacobs but obviously not everyone agrees with you that Canelo dominated Jacobs. As for Canelo out landing Jacobs 2 to 1 in 8 rounds he probably did. I am thinking those were the first 8 rounds and not the last 4 rounds when Canelo gassed out.
I had Canelo winning
He certainly didn’t dominate Jacobs, you’re right.
I thought it was 7 rounds to 5, or 8/4. Probably could score it a draw if you were really trying to give everything possible to jacobs but it’d be a stretch. I can see why some would have it a draw though, there was a couple of swing rounds.
It was a very competitive fight that Canelo probably shaded. It’s one of those that can seem more of a comfortable win than it is, but when you go round by round up and see Jacobs took most of the later rounds, it becomes much closer when you actually tally it up.
