Wilder could feasibly be #5 after that tbh. Fury beat him twice, AJ holds most of the major belts, Ruiz is 1-1 with AJ, Whyte has strung together a bunch of wins against solid opposition.

You did not argue when the exact same ranking orgs ranked Ruiz #1 after beating Joshua..THE SAME DAMN PLACES now have Fury and Wilder ranked where they are..So you either disagree with both or agree with both..can't slam them on one instance then p Why are they made?

None of them belts mean jack shlt. Fury beat the man who beat all the men. And beat a good fresh version of him. Beating Fury makes you the top dog in the division. Period! Its funny the Lineal champion doesn't mean anything to belt holders. But it does when they become the Lineal Champ. then he popped for a PED test for testosterone, a cocaine test and retired. by your logic lennox lewis could come out of retirement and become the lineal champion of the world. the "lineal" championship is only relevant until a fighter retires, you can't expect it to continue after that. in fury's case, he also popped for a drug test and shouldn't have even been allowed to fight wladimir because he should have been suspended after christian hammer.

When did boxrec rankings become a thing? When a bunch of fanboys decided it was time to try and make it a thing. Ridiculous. I don’t recall any of the legends citing boxrec rankings when they spoke of their greatness. There aren’t even active fighters who do that. only when you're talking about guys who you won't be ranking yourself, like the top 5 or 10 in a division. boxrec is amazing for "ranking" everyone registered over the entire globe. do you know who the 50th ranked HW in the world is? boxrec has a good idea who it is.

Those aren’t sanctioned bodies ,you really have to be off to not know a unified champion is ranked 1 or just champion not needing a ranking in these sanctioned bodies having the belt titles WBO, IBF, WBA ? Ha Joshua is just a title holder just like Wilder..But He also just got ko'd last year so that counts..Wilder is undefeated and so is Fury BUT!!! The Transnational rankings had Ruiz at one after defeating AJ the rankings you used saying they are the only ones that mattered . You just proved my point here ,lost as always . Who’s unranked ? If you’re referring to Ruiz he defeated AJ he gets the rank,it’s not hard you are taking his rank and then the guy who defeats you back gets that rank he had, you really made another illogical thread here . After AJ's loss to Ruiz he shouldn't be number 1...he redeemed himself a bit, and is back in the conversation...you could make a case for him being number 1, but I think number 3 is probably about where he should be after that loss...it was pretty bad

I had AJ number 1 before Ruiz but he got KOed by a huge underdog who was ranked about tenth so I dropped him down and he did not fight well enough in the rematch to be number 1 again. I think Fury number 1, Wilder a very close number 2 and AJ number 3 is correct. If we have a clear winner of Fury vs Wilder we have a solid number 1 in my book. About all AJ can do to become number 1 again is to get a fight with the winner of Fury-Wilder 2 and beat him.
